reading non-fiction, magazine subscriber, an avid reader, practical, cost-conscious
Pros

    Nice celebrity pictures, decent reviews of TV and movies, better than most of this genre

I like EW because it's an entertainment publication that isn't really interested in judging peoples' love lives or scandals or plastic surgeries. EW gives me info on television, cinema, music and books. I'd say I agree with the reviews about 75% of the time, and that's okay as long as they give me the info to make my own decision. The pictures can be stunning. For example the cover of James McAvoy and Keira Knightly from Jan 18? I'm thinking of framing it...

I've always liked EW, too. I like the fact that it avoids getting wound up in Hollywood gossip.
