We actually got our rate for Enterprise after booking our hotel, through hotels.com. They asked if they could help. The price was cheaper than going through any other Internet source.
Three days with a mid-size car for $111.80, picking up at Chicago's O'Hare airport.
We got the bus outside the terminal building and took the 8-10 minute drive. They took us straight to the door. As there were lots of people waiting we were given bottled water. Nice thought.
The line went really fast. Our guy knew his stuff and proceeded quickly. He of course offered us to bring the car back empty and pay for the gas in advance. We declined.
The Manager told us that our car wasn't ready but he had an upgrade of a Ford Edge, at no extra charge. We took it.
The vehicle was great and rode really well. We did a lot of driving from Chicago to Rockford, and then traveling across Rockford.
Upon our return we filled the vehicle half a mile from Enterprise. As we drove in a guy came out and looked the vehicle over and checked the gas gage. He thanked us and gave us a receipt for the $111.80 that we were quoted.
I asked if we could use the bathrooms and he showed us where they were. While I was waiting for Len I could have had free coffee.
As soon as we left the building a bus was waiting to take us back to the airport.
This was a first class experience and I couldn't find one fault with it.
