I am a frequent customer at Enterprise Car Rental. I live in a rural area where Enterprise is the only car rental agency available. As it turns out, I have the BEST car rental agency available to me. The associates at this location are so friendly and helpful. They know me by first name now. I usually rent a car when I am making a trip out of town to see my son and his family that live 3 hours away or to go shopping in a city close to my house. Or to visit other family. The cars are very comfortable and don't use a lot of gas. I usually go online and see what specials are coming up for the time I need the car. Usually, I get an upgrade without any problem. But the last time I got a really good deal but the car was not a good deal. It was a Kia, with NO cruise control and no leg room. I haven't driven without cruise control for years and it was really tough. Amazing how we get used to these conveniences. I am old enough to remember when there was no cruise control. You had to watch your speed yourself! lol! But I also remember on long trips my right leg going to sleep from pushing on the gas. And, believe me, on this last trip my right foot and leg ached after I had driven 3 hours to my son's house. Next time it might benefit me to pay for an upgrade. Also, it didn't really get any better gas mileage than the Chevy Malibu my daughter was driving. I was quite surprised. My grandchildren couldn't get used to the car not having automatic locks and windows. They actually had to roll the windows up and down. Imagine that!
Actually, that is the only time that I have gotten a car that was not comfortable. Most of the time, they are very nice, clean cars. I always figured I got a good car because the girls that work there liked me. But maybe they have no say in the matter. I'll just remember not to go for the cheapest but maybe the next up.
I have recommended Enterprise Car Rental to numerous family and friends and will keep doing that as long as I get the good service I have been getting.
