Enterprise Rent-A-Car Review

During our most recent vacation to Myrtle Beach we had the misfortune of have a breakdown.  The towing company called Enterprise for us and within 30 minutes we were on our way to the office to get a car.  The staff couldn't have been nicer.  Unfortunately, they only had 2 cars to choose from.  One was a large suv and the other was a hummer.  Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't have chosen either, but we were pretty much stuck.  I think we could have gotten a better deal if we had been able to shop around or had been at an airport terminal....but we weren't.  We wanted to get on with the vacation until our car was repaired as quickly as possible.  If you can plan for this ahead of time, shop around.  If you can't, it is comforting to know that Enterprise can get you back to where you want to be with a minimum of trouble.  The suv we got was getting a little old and "dinged" but that wasn't a problem for us.  If I had been wanting to impress someone with my rental, this would not have fit the bill.
