I spent 8 months in the Lake District and love exploring every little knook and cranny (just like in the English Muffins - that are not really English ) This is an enchanting land where you can imagine fairys and trolls just crawling all over the place playing tricks on the people who don't treat them with respect. I loved the small towns, hiking over the hills - never knowing where i was going to end up. And the absolut beauty of the hills, green and fresh with misty rain. Priceless!
