When my son was first born he wasn't latching to my breast. I didn't want to give him formula but I had no choice. My mom brought me this Enfamil premium newborn baby formula at the hospital so I gave it a try. It was very simple and easy to make. I just poured water in a bottle and added the scoops of milk and he would drink it all. The doctors said he digested it well and they told me this formula was good to give him. It would make me really happy to see my son drink this formula knowing he got full and didn't have a problem drinking it. He didn't get gassy and he didn't get colic from this formula. I kept giving him this formula till he was three months old then I moved on to the next step of formula. I've always liked the Enfamil formulas and if my next child doesn't latch again I will definitely use Enfamil again. I recommend this to any mother who's not breast feeding there child try this. Its high in vitamin D and its high in iron.

I recently had a baby in March and while at the hospital my son was given Enfamil Premium Newborn Baby Formula to drink. My son loved it. He drank every bottle dry. The formula is made specifically for a newborns tummy and as a pre-formula to use before switching to Enfamil for infants a few months down the road. My son was also a colicky baby and this formula always helped to soothe his stomach while others made him sream or spit up. The formula also helps with gas, spit-up and colicky babies as well. Easily Digested Great for a newborn with gas, spit-up or tummy troubles in general. My son had no problems drinking or keeping this formula down. Ease of Preparation I love the powdered form. I can pre-measure his feedings and take the formula with me without needing to refrigerate it. Just take the measuring cup that is provided in the can and measure out the feeding amount and mix with water. Then shake....easy peasy. So much easier than breastfeeding.

The very first formula we tried for my son after he was born and by the second bottle, he was extremely fussy as well as gassy. By the third and fourth bottle, he was screaming non-stop. He was pushing, straining, and stiffening up his entire body. He had so much gas and seemed constipated. Since we were in the hospital, the nurses tried different ways to relieve his gas and belly pain without any success. We finally had an LPN change him to a different formula. Easily Digested I didn't find this formula easily digestible. After a few hours of life and a few bottles of this, my little guy was in ridiculous amounts of pain. He literally screamed with a tummy ache for a day and a half before the hospital staff would change the formula. Ease of Preparation It was very easy to prepare. It was given to is in ready to eat nursette bottles. All we had to do was attach a nipple and shake. It also came in a powder formula to mix with water which again is simple to prepare.

I chose to use this formula with both of my newborns up until they turned 3 months old. I have always breast fed my babies and supplemented with formula. When I had my first child, the hospital staff gave me samples of this formula to feed my baby when I needed to supplement. My milk was not coming in yet and the baby was hungry. The Nurse and lactation consultant told me this was a good formula and gentle for newborns. It provides all of the nutrition that they need and with added vitamin D. The bottles were easy to prepare. One scoop of formula for every four ounces of formula. My babies did not have a problem drinking or digesting this. It seemed to be very gentle on their tummies. Neither one of them was gassy or fussy after eating. They were both satisfied and burped easily after each feeding without throwing up. I grew to love and trust this brand and eventually started to purchase it on my own and recommend it to other families. This is a great formula to start a newborn on. If you can't breast feed, then finding the right formula is the next best thing.

My daughter was having trouble digesting another name brand formula, so I decided to try Enfamil after receiving a sample of the newborn formula in the mail. She was breastfed, but I also supplemented. It went very well when we tried it, with no spit-up or gas, so I decided to purchase more containers. Mind you, the product is high quality so you can expect a slightly higher price. It is very well worth it, though. Instead of having to shell out extra money trying different formulas, I'm confident Enfamil is a great choice for any infant and most mothers won't have any problems with it. Don't let cost be an issue. You can sign up online to receive coupons and if you receive WIC checks, I believe it is an approved brand. I'm excited to keep using this product as my child continues to grow! She is putting on healthy weight and getting taller each day. I'm so happy she is getting proper nutrition.

I have one can of Enfamil Newborn and decided to try it out with my daughter. It's been three days and we're having problems. I feel so bad for my baby :( She's fussy, gassy, and constipated. I have to give my daughter diluted prune juice almost everyday due to constipation. Even still, she struggles with her bowel movements. Sadly, I still have to use the rest of this can because I don't have another way to get more formula right now. I've heard some not-so-good things about Enfamil in general, but didn't want to knock it 'till I tried it. I don't know if it's this specific kind of Enfamil formula or what, but it's not working so well for my daughter and I. She get's belly aches, she cries for about an hour after each feeding until she falls asleep, and she cries when she has a bowel movement. I've had to use a thermometer and petroleum jelly with this brand, but not nearly so much as with Similac. Every baby is different though. This kind wasn't for me.

I have used this Enfamil Newborn formula for both of my boys when I found out I wasn't producing enough milk. I love that is a newborn version of the formula because I know that it is great for little tummies. I never had to worry about their nutrition when I was feeding them their bottles. They took right to it and never had any gas troubles on it. I loved the ease of fixing their bottles in the middle of the night because that it something that can be harder for formula feeding parents. If I were to have a third child, I would definitely be buying this formula for them as well. Another great thing about this formula is a fact that Enfamil will send you lots of coupons and full size samples when you sign up with them online. They are a great company and I am happy to buy their products if it means that my baby will be a healthy and happy one! Easily Digested This newborn version of Enfamil is great on tiny tummies. I am still using this formula with my daughter and she's a little over 3 months. She's tolerating it very well. I want to use up what i have on hand before switching her over to the yellow can. I am also nursing too so this is being used in addition to nursing. Easily Digested She doesn't spit up Ease of Preparation Its easy to prepare. 1 scoop for 2oz of water. very easy. It can be messy though when measuring it into the bottle. So what I have done is bought a Dr Browns mixing mug and i prepare her formula a head of time in that and then i pour it into her bottle when we are ready to use it

Enfamil Newborn was the formula my new granddaughter was started out on in the hospital. My daughter had decided to breastfeed, but had complications which led to alternating breast milk and formula. Enfamil Newborn worked well for about a week and that is when the trouble began. Tummy trouble. My granddaughter had severe cramping which was decided by her doctor was due to the formula. While each baby is different, and adjusts to different formulas in a different way, I by no means want to say this is a bad infant formula. It just didn't work for our baby. Enfamil Premium Newborn formula is designed specifically for newborn babies. It contains DHA which is essential for brain development, extra Vitamin D, and prebiotics that help with the growth of "good" bacteria in the intestines and stomach. Easily Digested I can't fault this formula on digestion factors. It just didn't agree with our babies' tummy. After days of a screaming baby, no sleep for baby or mother, you have to take action. Ease of Preparation As with most formulas on the market these days, preparation is mix with water 1:2 ratio. Directions are stated on each canister. Enfamil Premium Newborn can also be purchased premixed in a can and also in 2 and 4 ounce bottles.
