My nephew was a child with severe upper respiratory issues, allergies and digestive disorders.  We tried every infant formula possible to help with the allergies and digestion and nothing worked.  He was seeing his pediatrician for this problem and she tried soy.  Soy was okay with slowing the vomiting... review »

My son is  a big, healthy boy that does not refuse food!  He will eat absolutely anything.  He has been primarily breastfed but since returning to work I supplement with formula.  He will drink the regular enfamil, as well as, any other brand I give him.  My pediatrician gave us a sample of this... review »

When my two month old daughter was born, she was put on Similac Advance with Iron. When WIC would not allow that, we switched her to Enfamil Lipil with Iron. That did not sit well with her, she became fussy and colicky. When she was eventually diagnosed with GERD and formula allergies, the doctor told us to put her on Nutramagin. What a difference it has made. She went from crying every second that she was awake, to the extent that she would cry herself into an exhausted sleep, now she smiles, she interacts, and she looks and acts like a happy baby. I started out breast feeding, but after two weeks I was convinced my daughter just wasn't getting enough at each feeding, so I switched to Emfamil Lipil with iron.  She did NOT take to it, and was very colicky.  I then switched to Enfamil Gentle ease, with no real change.  My daughter's pediatrician suggested Nutramigen, and I immediately saw a change!  It's fluffy texture tells me it's not irritating on her tummy, and it is 100% lactose free.  She is now 15 months, and no longer drinks it, but has successfully transitioned to whole milk.  I recommend it to any baby with digestive issues... review »

My son went through 5 formulas before we tried Nutramigen.  Very pricy, but very worth it.  He couldn't tolerate the powder, so we had to buy the ready to feed.  We used coupons a lot.  Next week he will be six months and we are going to try to ween him off but if it doesn't work he'll be right back on it.  I would get a second job if I had to.  I think my next one will go right on it.  The first 5 weeks were horrible and I wouldn't want to put another baby through that.  I recommend this to any parent of a baby that is very gassy and cries all the time.

As a new mom, of course my first son would have horrible feeding problems.  He wouldn't take to the breast and regular formula made him colicky.  I was getting worried because he would hardly sleep because he would scream all the time.  I asked my doctor for a sample of Nutramigen and it worked INSTANTLY.  It was amazing.  He ate like he was starving and then slept for a few hours.  We kept him on it until he was about 1 1/2 years old because he had a milk protein allergy, which kept him from drinking milk.  This formula is very expensive, but worth the cost.  You can find good deals, like... review »

This product is very good for babies who are colicky. My four children were allergic to milk and very colicky. This product is great because when it is going to work for you it works right away. There is no waiting for the baby adjusts. This works within the first 48 hrs. My first son cried continuously from stomach pain and would throw-up soy milk because he had a milk allergy. After eating this product, he stopped crying almost instantly. However, it does have a weird smell and sometimes leaves horrible stains. Nevertheless, It is great.

Brought my third child home, only to have her start vomitting. The pediatrician said she was allergic to milk. We tried soy formula with her, as my first child had, and she had problems digesting it well. We then tried Nutramigen, and she did well with it. It was much more costly than the other Enfamil formulas, but she really started to do well after we changed to this formula, and started gaining weight. I would recommend the already mixed up rather than the powder, but both of them were digested well.

I was only able to breast feed my son for about three weeks.  A little while after we started him on formula he started having a runny nose and cough all the time.  Then we battled throwing up.  We tried stuff for acid reflux, different allergy medicines and all kinds of formula.  I started wondering if it was something with the milk and talked to his new doctor who suggested we try this formula.  Two days later he was half as snotty as he usually was and is now doing great.  He doesn't really even have to take his allergy drops anymore!  This formual is as hypoallergenic as you can get. ...

Both of my girls had acid reflux as infants, which meant the puked up a lot after each feeding. My second daughter had it so bad that her pediatrician tried her on 3 different formulas before nutramigen, which finally worked. It was amazing how it stopped the constant spitting up. Made our lives much easier, and we didn't have to do as much laundry :)

     My daughter cried every night from 5:00 til around 8:00.  I walked her sang to her and took her for rides in the car.  Nothing would stop her crying.. my doctor told me to try Nutramigen and it only took 1 day and she stopped.  Believe me it was a miracle for me.

I loved this product...My daughter was VERY sick the first 6 weeks of her life until we switched her formula to this one and it was a total 180 within the first 48 hours.

We started my son on Nutramigen when he was about 8 weeks old.  Before, he was fussy and the only time he wasn't was when he was sleeping.  Within the 1st day, we could tell a difference.  I would highly recommend this product!!  It is expensive, but Enfamil will send you coupons if you get on their website and request them.

With both of my girls we had feeding issues. The price isn't so nice but this was the only formula they would and could take without having to be on constant meds to tolerate anything else. Would highly recommend this product for infants with stomach issues.

Nutramagin was recommended to me by my son's pediatrician as he could not take regular Enfamil, nor Isomil (soy).  Nutramagin is for those severe cases of Reflux, which our son had.  When used in conjunction with Prevacid, his symptoms dissapated.  However, I have always been a bit nervous as to what I was exactly feeding my child.  The ingredients are not familiar and I have heard there are some that could be harmful to children (allergies, long-term effects etc).  He did thrive and came out of the formula stage is now able to fully drink milk and all other dairy products.What was neat anout...
