Most HelpfulI was devastated when I found out I wouldn't be able to nurse my son 2 years ago. I wanted him to have the best, and that meant the best formula I could buy. My pediatrician recommended Enfamil Lipil and we never looked back.
My son would still be drinking it if I let him; he loved it. I also like that Enfamil offers the Next Step formula for toddlers. You can tell that it's a different, more mature recipe by what comes out in the diapers but he didn't seem to notice any difference in taste or texture.
The enfamil with iron LIPIL taste awful and smells just as bad. Can we not do anything about the taste of this stuff. I gave it to my daughter a couple times and she threw it up every time. This is not something I'm going to buy again. I also don't like how they compare themselves to breastmilk when clearly there is so much lacking in formula that the two aren't even in the same catagory, let alone the same book. I think the can design needs to be more recyclable friendly. This stuff constipates my baby up bad. I think they need to work on the constipation, flavor, and texture factor of this product....
read full review »My daughter went through many types of formula when she was a newborn. Many of them had side effects that I did not enjoy, and I am sure she did not either. I finally got the chance to try Enfamil with Lipil with her and the results were amazing. She had absolutely no problem eating it. I love that Enfamil is recommended by the paediatrician and that it is very close to the composition of breast milk. The current cost of a 12.9 oz can is about $14.00 and it lasts my daughter roughly two and a half days. My daughter refuses to drink anything else now. Clearly printed on the package are the following...
read full review »I LOVED Enfamil lipil. My daughter was a preemie and both breastfed and bottle fed from day one. I had planned to breastfeed so when I realized I'd need some support via formula, I was very concerned and wanted to make sure I got the best for my baby. The hospital provided Enfamil Lipil with Iron and I asked everyone I knew who had children and they all suggested Similac or Enfamil. It has all of the things that my OB/GYN recommended and once we found a pediatrician, he said it is what he recommends as well. It didn't make my daughter spit up (which is a big concern when they're preemies). ...
read full review »When it was time to start buying formula for my infant, there were so many choices available I wasn't sure where to begin. I had received free samples from Enfamil and a few others but for some reason in the back of my mind, I thought I remembered hearing good things about Enfamil, so I decided to try this brand first. I had also heard that one shouldn't switch your infant's formula around unless absolutely necessary. I started off with Enfamil Lipils, recommended by doctors and parents alike. I actually never had to switch to another brand. This brand was gentle on my baby's stomach...

The most common theme here seem to be: xxx brand caused my baby this and that, yyy brand doesn't have this problem, therefore, I stick with this brand. In my humble opinion, baby formulas are just like sandwich breads, each has flavors of their own, but they taste very similar, and with similar nutritional contents.
My baby daughter has used Enfamil, Similac, and Nestle Goodstart. I cannot tell if she likes or dislikes any one of them. But I can tell that Enfamil...

I mean, this stuff is EXPENSIVE. Also, Enfamil seems to be the only company that sells those individual packets of the formula which I assume are pretty handy.
Unfortunately my daughter and Enfamil did not mix well. She spit up A LOT when I tried to feed this to her. And it didn't smell good - but I haven't found a formula that really does.
So I just figured that I had a baby that spit up a lot. Makes...
read full review »Enfamil is the best formula. My pedi recommended it and I think it's well worth the additional cost over the cheaper formulas. It is affordable and has everything that is top of the line for what my baby needs for great development. I love that it's sold almost anywhere and that there are all forms of this formula. I can premade, I can buy convient 4 oz pre measured packets, I can buy a small can, or a large cane. I love it! I have tried cheaper brands and they did not sit well with my baby, she spit them up. They also had a funky smell with the spit up. Enfamil does have the formula...
