Enfamil Lipil Formula with Iron Review Summary

When choosing a formula for baby, parents always want to find the best with the best value. Enfamil Lipil with Iron is repeatedly described by Veiwpoints reviewers as the best formula since it contains “the same nutrients as mother's milk.” Also, with an easy to prepare mixture, Enfamil Lipil “dissolves easier in water but it also causes a lot of bubbles,“ and is gentle on baby‘s digestive system (and we all know that means less spit-up). Enfamil Lipil tends have a higher cost, but parents are willing to pay extra for the added nutrition and ease of preparation, and report it is easy to obtain coupons from Enfamil to help the formula fit in a lean budget.

One of my favorite's, and definitely one of my daughter's favorite infant formula is Enfamil Lipil with Iron, with DHA & ARA.  We liked it so much we even used the Toddler formula for a little while.

We used this for my son (now 3) when he was born and it was really hard on his tummy. Being first-time parents, we didn't realize that the problem was with the formula until much later. We just thought that all babies must be like this. That all babies needed bottles and bottles of gas drops (that didn't... review »

I buy Enfamil because it is easiest on my baby.  I have tried Kirkland, Good Start and Similac.  Enfamil is by far the best.  I bought Good Start because I am on a budget and I had a coupn for $11 off so I nearly got it free!  Even though I have additional coupons for $11 off Good start, I will never purchase it again because it made my little one so consitpated she didn't go for a week and a half!  I gave her 4 oz of Enfamil and she was right back to normal.  Similac is ok, but it smells like vomit, that has to taste bad, and it doesn't mix well.  Occasionally I will buy a small container... review »

The enfamil with iron LIPIL taste awful and smells just as bad. Can we not do anything about the taste of this stuff. I gave it to my daughter a couple times and she threw it up every time. This is not something I'm going to buy again. I also don't like how they compare themselves to breastmilk when clearly there is so much lacking in formula that the two aren't even in the same catagory, let alone the same book. I think the can design needs to be more recyclable friendly. This stuff constipates my baby up bad. I think they need to work on the constipation, flavor, and texture factor of this product....

We absolutely loved this formula for our daughter. Once I stopped breastfeeding we started with Similac and our child just didn't seem to care for the taste of it. We had a friend who recommended we switch because she had the same problem with her kids so we did. Absolutely saw a change when we did this. Our daughter loved it! We also found it easy to mix and that it dissolved quickly. The Similac seemed to be more oily (for lack of a better description) and when we'd put it in the measuring cup it would clump and stick. It would also take longer to dissolve. We are expecting our second... review »

I have tried several different formulas, and Enfamil Lipil is the only one that either of my children could tolerate.  I love that it contains DHA/ARA, and is also available in a NEXT STEP formula for children up to 24months. It doesn't have that 'nasty formula' smell that other formulas have, and it doesn't stain their clothes.

I like using Emfamil w/ iron b/c it has the nice little travel back that you can just add to a bottle of  water. The packs are premeasured for 4 oz bottles. These are nice when you are on a trip so you don't worry about spilling formula everywhere.

I was devastated when I found out I wouldn't be able to nurse my son 2 years ago. I wanted him to have the best, and that meant the best formula I could buy. My pediatrician recommended Enfamil Lipil and we never looked back.

My son would still be drinking it if I let him; he loved it. I also like that Enfamil offers the Next Step formula for toddlers. You can tell that it's a different, more mature recipe by what comes out in the diapers but he didn't seem to notice any difference in taste or texture.

My daughter went through many types of formula when she was a newborn. Many of them had side effects that I did not enjoy, and I am sure she did not either. I finally got the chance to try Enfamil with Lipil with her and the results were amazing. She had absolutely no problem eating it. I love that Enfamil is recommended by the paediatrician and that it is very close to the composition of breast milk. The current cost of a 12.9 oz can is about $14.00 and it lasts my daughter roughly two and a half days. My daughter refuses to drink anything else now. Clearly printed on the package are the following...

I have had four children in the past four years.  With every child, I have participated in the WIC program in my state.  When I had my first son, I wasn't sure which formula would be most advantageous to him.  The WIC counselor told me that Enfamil Lipil with Iron was the most popular choice of new mothers in their program. So that's what I chose.  Since then, all four of my children have been fed and grown on this formula.  My youngest son is nine months old and he is currently still drinking Enfamil Lipil bottles every day.  When I recently took him to our last WIC appointment, they had... review »

I LOVED Enfamil lipil. My daughter was a preemie and both breastfed and bottle fed from day one.  I had planned to breastfeed so when I realized I'd need some support via formula, I was very concerned and wanted to make sure I got the best for my baby.  The hospital provided Enfamil Lipil with Iron and I asked everyone I knew who had children and they all suggested Similac or Enfamil.  It has all of the things that my OB/GYN recommended and once we found a pediatrician, he said it is what he recommends as well.  It didn't make my daughter spit up (which is a big concern when they're preemies). ...

When it was time to start buying formula for my infant, there were so many choices available I wasn't sure where to begin.  I had received free samples from Enfamil and a few others but for some reason in the back of my mind, I thought I remembered hearing good things about Enfamil, so I decided to try this brand first.  I had also heard that one shouldn't switch your infant's formula around unless absolutely necessary.  I started off with Enfamil Lipils, recommended by doctors and parents alike.  I actually never had to switch to another brand.  This brand was gentle on my baby's stomach...

When I was first looking at the baby formula reviews here, I'm surprised to see how many moms feed their babies ONLY ONE BRAND formula. The most common theme here seem to be: xxx brand caused my baby this and that, yyy brand doesn't have this problem, therefore, I stick with this brand. In my humble opinion, baby formulas are just like sandwich breads, each has flavors of their own, but they taste very similar, and with similar nutritional contents.

My baby daughter has used Enfamil, Similac, and Nestle Goodstart. I cannot tell if she likes or dislikes any one of them. But I can tell that Enfamil...

I had a bunch of cans of the Enfamil formula either given to me or sent to me by Enfamil.  I must have had at least 10 cans, so I was stoked.  I figured I was set for a while, right?  I mean, this stuff is EXPENSIVE.  Also, Enfamil seems to be the only company that sells those individual packets of the formula which I assume are pretty handy.

Unfortunately my daughter and Enfamil did not mix well.  She spit up A LOT when I tried to feed this to her.  And it didn't smell good - but I haven't found a formula that really does.

So I just figured that I had a baby that spit up a lot.  Makes...

Enfamil is the best formula.  My pedi recommended it and I think it's well worth the additional cost over the cheaper formulas.  It is affordable and has everything that is top of the line for what my baby needs for great development.  I love that it's sold almost anywhere and that there are all forms of this formula.  I can premade, I can buy convient 4 oz pre measured packets, I can buy a small can, or a large cane.  I love it! I have tried cheaper brands and they did not sit well with my baby, she spit them up.  They also had a funky smell with the spit up.  Enfamil does have the formula...
