Energizer Advanced Formula "D" Sized Alkaline Battery Review

Bottom-Line: If you need a long lasting battery at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with the Energizer Advanced Formula "D" Sized Alkaline Battery.

Let's face it, there is not a lot of equipment that accept "D" sized batteries anymore; only two come immediately to mind: flashlights and portable CD players and or radios.  I use the Energizer Advanced Formula "D" Sized Alkaline Battery's in all of the flashlights I have scattered throughout our house. 

The Energizer Advanced Formula "D" Sized Alkaline Battery is a 1.5 volt alkaline battery designed to deliver dependable long lasting power for all matter of portable devices.  I purchased my batteries at the local ACE Hardware store, but they are available just about everywhere.  In addition to the above mentioned flashlights I also use the batteries in a portable CD/Cassette/AM-FM player of which it take four.  Under normal everyday usage (1-2 hours a day) I can expect to get about three months of usage from the batteries.
