Great SciFi Story for almost any age, fast paced, good characters you generate feelings for, new world and story line not a rehash world and just the same old story.
The main character develops more complicated and differing strategies to over come the challenges in a war game environment where the combatants you guns that "freeze" your body's movement where ever the rays hit your suit, all done in zero G.
This book is in my top five sci-fi's. I read it when I was in middle school and couldn't stop. It's a book that quickly attaches itself to your heart and you become emotionally involved in the characters lives.
I love sci-fi and this is one that covers all the basics of the genre. Outer space, space ships, alien species, war in space.
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
In celebration of the release of Ender in Exile, I decided to reread Ender's Game. Though I admit it doesn't take much for me to find a good reason to revisit an old friend like Ender. There are times I wonder why I keep going back again and again and again. What is it about Ender and his friends that I just can't get enough of? I don't have the answer to that. But I do know that each time with Ender is just as magical as the previous times. I never get tired of reading Ender's Game no matter how many times I reread it. And there aren't that many books I can say...
review »I throughly enjoyed the book Ender's Game. I read it once when I was little, then again in high school and a thrid time in college for a lit. class. I enjoyed it every time and it never got boring. It was well written and fun to read.
If you've never read a sci-fi book and are intrested, read it; it will get you hooked to sci-fi....the whole series is awesome!
