A good way to pass the weekend.

This movie is actually very cute, with an original and creative plot that was executed in a wonderful way. Instead of coming off cheesy and lame, it flowed well, and the acting was surprisingly good. The main character's strife really hurts you from the beginning, and you'll find yourself cheering her on and laughing at the situations her naivety get her into. This film would be especially appreciated by New Yorkers, since that's where the movie takes place, and some of the events are just so right on the money that you'll be in stitches over just how accurate they got it. For example, the entire scene in Central Park. While I admit that the ending wasn't up tot he same standard as the rest of the film, it was only the last few minutes that suffered from this, so it was excusable.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was a wonderful way to pass a weekend or to just watch during a boring afternoon..
