Emory University Atlanta GA Review Summary

When universities and the state of Georgia are mentioned in the same breath, most people think of one of the large state schools. But there are some renowned private universities in the Peach state and one of them is Emory University. This university provides a great education in the large city of Atlanta where there is plenty to do for entertainment. Classes at Emory University are small, and there are many programs of study that are nationally recognized. On the downside, the school is very expensive and difficult to gain acceptance, but Emory University offers “Great Education in a Great Location” and reviewers agree that it ranks among the nation’s best Colleges or Universities.

Knowing my daughter wanted to be a doctor we looked for schools that had excellent science programs. Emory University does. — — Emory, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is ranked #18 in the country according to U.S. News and World Reports with a little over 6,000 undergraduate students and about 12,000 students in total. — — The first time I saw the school was when my husband and I took her there with a U-Haul behind us in August of her first year. She had visited it along with other school alone. It was and is a very, beautiful campus. — — Emory… read full review »

I am a big believer in small class size and that is what I got at Emory University.  Every class in my major was 10-15 people that you got know very well as well as the professor for the course.  There were a lot of gen ed classes that needed to be taken, but a variety to choose from so there was always something that peaked your interest.  —  The surroundings were beautiful.  You are in a small suburb of Atlanta with great parks, but close enough to take Marta anywhere.  The tulips in the spring time were my favorite.  There was alway something… read full review »
