These earrings are quite long and dangle like crazy. I thought they were sterling but they are silver tone. They look just like sterling silver and are very shiny. My favorite thing is they open just like real handcuffs and you can even wear them open or close them a bit tighter for a different look. People play with my earrings every time I wear these. Obviously, these are not dressy earrings but I am not a very dressy person. I like unique and different things and these are. I always get comments from people who want a closer look. I guess they can't figure out why I have handcuffs hanging off my ears!

These are well made and I have had no problems with them. They do tend to get a little heavy after a few hours especially if I am moving around a lot and they are swinging around but they're not TOO heavy that they are uncomfortable.

These would make a nice gift for like minded people or wives of police officers or even female police officers although they probably don't want to ever see handcuffs when they don't have to. I have seen many types of handcuff earrings but so far, I think these are the cutest. While I wish they were sterling silver, they seem to be holding up really well with no chipping or fading and, for under $20.00, they're a good deal. They will get noticed!

My Viewpoint

These earrings are just offbeat enough for me to love them. While I wish the handcuff part were just a bit smaller, they are still lots of fun to wear and definitely will be played with a lot - even by strangers which is rather odd. A great conversation piece and a cute look with biker boots or any casual outfit, I give these 4 stars. They're adorable.
