Emerson MW8119SB Review Summary
It seems while the Emerson MW8119SB Microwave Oven is great to look at and cheap, and while it fools you into thinking it works well, it just doesn't last long enough. This Emerson Microwave features a stainless steel exterior, a turntable, and a cheap price, but it "only last six months." In addition "trying to get in touch with customer support has been a joke," so there doesn't even seem to be any resolution when you do lose service on your Emerson unit. Once consumers do get in contact with the Emerson customer service, they have to pay the cost themselves to ship the broken items of their microwave oven back before they will get a replacement. Others report that this Emerson microwave simply "heats nothing over five minutes" after a few months of use. Check out the reviews of other microwave ovens and find one that is rated much higher.

I am changing my kitchen over to all stainless steel, so when the microwave died the other night I thought I'd price stainless steel ones. I was please to find this one for 59.00
But does it have a turntable? Ok I'm spoiled, let the microwave turn the food for me I don't have time to run back and forth...... Yes, it does...and it's "pretty" ok .sold.
Putting the glass tray into the bottom turned out to be the hardest step, but once it slid in right the rest was easy. (it has to line up right to turn). The clock is big enough that I can see if from the other room....cool. That means I don't have to...

Bought this unit at Walmart and it started going up within 6 months. Called Emerson and I have to pay to send by cord, glass plate and rotation thingy. Then they will send me a replacement. I have no idea what unit they will send (their choice)! Could take weeks so now I am stuck without a micro until they get around to sending me a new one. I hope they send me one that is worth what I paid for this one... We will see... Do yourself a favor and go buy one from another brand!!!! Wish I had!!!!!
