I have had this microwave for maybe a year to a year and a half. Yes it looks nice and the price was good. It worked well too- at first. I did notice occasionally that it would do some weird things like overheat very badly, make sizzling sounds, shut itself off while in use, and the interior light would flash along with the sizzling sounds as if it were shorting out. I have had to unpug it a few times to let it cool off. Now we are having problems with it doing this everytime we use it. The lights in our kitchen will blink and our breaker box starts making strange noises. Anything else on the same circuit will start making strange noises also while the microwave is in use. At first we thought there was a problem with the breakers so we replaced them, but it didn't stop. Then I started thinking about the microwave and these things only happen when it's being used. I started looking up emerson products and I see that this has happened a lot with their microwaves. Some have turned on by themselves and caught fire! We have had since 2010. The switch to the motor (lack of better term) wont turn off. I will cook food after the timer goes "ding", thererfore we have had to put it on a power strip...Still works with switch problem....No buy again...

We bought this microwave a little over 2 years ago and now it doesn't heat anything up at all! Like I said we have only had it a little over 2 years! The microwave we had before this lasted over 5 years so I find this unacceptable. I would definitely shop for a different brand because this is the 2nd Emerson we bought within 3 years and both had the same problem! The first one we bought was luckily still under warranty and we were able to return it to the store we bought it from but this one we are stuck with (or without) depending on how you look at it.

Our old microwave oven broke so we went to Wal-Mart to but a new one. We were really mad that we had to buy a new one because we loved our old one so much. We bought this Emerson and took it home with us. We liked the style of the microwave and the fact that it was a great price. When we got it home my husband set it up and went to try it out. We didn't look at the instructions and were confused when we couldn't get it to work right. Pushing the number buttons would set the microwave for that time. (IE: Pushing the 1 gave you 1 minute and pressing 2 gave you 2 minutes) We figured out you need to push "time cook" if you want to put in an alternate time such as 20 seconds. Pushing the start button automatically adds 30 seconds. Once we figured all this out we were pleased with our purchase. It has held up well over the past few months. It isn't as strong as our old microwave (which is why I gave it 4 stars) but it works really well and we are happy with it. It has lots of different settings on the front but we mainly just use the popcorn button. This has been a great purchase and we are very happy with this microwave.

When my roommates moved out, I lost my microwave. I was given this one as a gift and could not be happier. Not only does it fit great on the counter top, this microwave works like a charm. Super quiet and offers awesome features. I love the kitchen timer! Helps out a lot when baking or timing other projects. I will admit, the defrost settings are a little confusing, however, once you figure it out, piece of cake! The child lock out feature is great. Keeps all those little rugrats out of your microwave when you are not looking. You can do pretty much anything with this microwave. Popcorn is easy, just choose a serving size, bake some potatoes, warm up pizza or leftovers from the night before. This is the best investment I have made since I got out on my own. I am very excited to try other products from Emerson. They seem to work great and have especially great features.  If you are looking for a new microwave, I would suggest this one to anyone!

Our first microwave that we had recieved as a wedding gift, burned out. The same day that it burned out we went to Walmart to find ourselves a new microwave. We looked for a microwave that would fit into our tight kitchen space. The microwave aisle had about 10 different microwaves to choose from. We choose the Emerson MW9325SL. This microwave has 11 power levels. It has 6 one touch setting. (Ex. touch 1 and you get 1 minute of heating time, 2=2minutes of heating time, etc.) What first caught our eye was that it has a stainless steel front. For me that means less cleaning. It has a LED display and a digital clock. It also has  12 buttons for special heating/cooking. Ex Pizza, potato, popcorn. A time and weight defrost system. A child-safe lock-out feature and a removable glass turntable. This is a great microwave that heats almost instantly. Both me and my husband work so when I make something in the morning, he can have the same great taste when he heats it up and eats it after work. Great product! Absolutley LOVE IT!
