I bought this microwave on black friday of 2007. At first everything worked fine. It worked fine for about a six months and after that it the buttons were kinda hard to push. It would still heat stuff up just fine, it just wouldn't register until you pushed the buttons a few times. Well after that the buttons would go off on their own. The 2 would repeatedly come up and it would beep. When we tried to push the buttons they would not work at all. Well at the time we were living on a tight budget and we couldn't afford to get a new one so we kept it for along time. It got to the point where you had to hit it repeatedly to get any of the buttons to work and even then you would have to push reset a few times for it to register. Also the top of the microwave got very hot when you would heat things up for over 4 minutes which is not good if you keep bread on top of your microwave like I do. The biggest thing that scared me was the buttons going off and we would have to turn it off at night for fear of a fire starting. I would not reccomend this microwave.
