I am all for prevention and vitamin supplements rather than medicines, so I like the idea of an immune system booster. I tried this product in particular because there was a sale at my local drug store, and made it very affordable. I think the "citrus" flavor might be a little misleading, because the first thing I thought was orange flavor. But it's not. It's more like "white citrus", or lime and grapefruit or something like that. It might even taste a little "grassy" because it's slightly bitter too.  It really doesn't taste that bad, but when you expected it to taste like orange, the flavor will throw you off a little. This is a drink mix that you need to add 4 to 6 oz of water. I think it tastes better when you have less water. It contains 1,000 mg vitamin C, which is 1,667% of daily value in one packet. It also contains a lot of other ingredients like vitamin B6, B12, Zinc, etc. However, the suggested dosage is "take 1 packet 2 to 4 times a day."  That concerns me a little because if you do 4 times a day, that's 6,668% daily value of vitamin C.  I don't know if you can take too much vitamin C in your system and cause any side effect. Besides, that will cost a lot of money to keep it up in that rate. So how did it work? Well, I am sure the manufacturer will tell you that you need to take this daily to maintain the effect.  I can't afford to do that. So I take it when I can find a good deal, and I only take it from time to time (not daily).  I am normally healthy and don't get sick often.  I haven't gotten sick during the period of time when I take this supplement. So yes, I am willing to believe it did help. I will recommend this product although I don't swear by it. It's something that is nice to have if you can find a good deal.

Let's just start by saying that I LOVE Emergen-C fizzy drink packets!  So, I thought that I would really like these as well - NO!!!!  They taste really gross and I couldn't get past the yucky syrupy taste.  Emergen-C needs to stick with their powders or make a tablet.  This sugary drink is not it.

I absolutely love the immune plus system booster by Emergen-C, the Citrus flavor is great with no after taste at all and it dissolves 100%. It only has 20 calories per serving, 4grams of sugar and 3grams of sodium. I like the combination of potassium, zinc and B12. Like a lot of you I do not get enough sleep at times which causes me to be fatigue and cranky the next morning I don't really like the taste of coffee so I thought I would give this system booster a try and I am glad I did because it gave me back my energy all day It helped a lot with the fatigue I was feeling and I liked the taste. Nothing can replace a good night's sleep but in today's super busy times that is often easier said than done. Emergen-C is an effective way to replenish lost energy, simply dissolve one packet in four to eight oz of water 2 to 4 times a day as needed. All I really needed was one pack a day, I would recommend to everyone.

I'm one of those people who seems to constantly be battling a cold or a virus of some kind or another. It's very frustrating. I have a virus called Chronic Epstein Barr Virus and it causes my immune system to not be able to ward off common colds and the flu as it should. I take tons of vitamins and minerals to give my immune system a boost. Well, recently while shopping for vitamins, I saw **Emergen-C + Immune System Booster** and decided to give it a try. It's a citrus flavored powder that you mix with water and drink. I find it to be very refreshing and since swallowing Vitamin C tablets isn't particularly easy for me, I like this product very much. I also like the fact that it doesn't just contain Vitamin C. It's also packed with Vitamin D, Zinc, and what the manufacturer calls a *proprietary immune complex with beta glucans*, which are basically a fiber-type polysaccharides (sugar compounds) that are used to enhance the immune system and to lower cholesterol levels. Sounds good to me! My immune system needs all the help it can get and I have noticed that my colds and viruses don't seem to last as long as they did before I began using this product on a regular basis. If I didn't already have Chronic Epstein Barr Virus that seems to want to stick around forever, I honestly believe that I would see a drastic decline in the number of colds and viruses that I get. I seem to have more energy and feel better overall when I use this product than when I take regular Vitamin C. I honestly believe it's giving my immune system a much needed boost and I will continue to use it daily and I recommend it.
