The Embassy Suites hotel was a great experience. They let us check in earlier when rooms became available. We had breakfast, it was free of charge for our stay. Breakfast is a hugh buffet and cook to order menu. Anything your family wants is there. Perfect for starting your day sightseeing. The rooms were a good size for two adults and two preteen kids. It had a separate room with a couch ,tv, microwave and refrigerator. Also a tv in the bedroom. . The hotel had an indoor pool, though small it served the purpose for the kids. The staff was very coureous and helpful, especially the dining room staff and concierge.

Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, A subway station was two blocks from the hotel. It saved alot of money and went most places. Most attractions in Washington D.C. are free.

Located in the very heart of the nation's Capital between the White House and the US Capitol and within 1.5 blocks of the new Washington D.C. Convention Center. This ideal city-center location is in the downtown business district and just seven blocks north of the National Mall, which makes visiting the Smithsonian Museums, the National Monuments, Georgetown and historic sites very convenient. The Metro subway is only a three-block walk. Chinatown, Gallery Place shopping and entertainment complex and the MCI Center are a four-block stroll. Union Station is one mile away.
