Embassy Suites Cincinnati - Northeast (Blue Ash) - Cincinnati, OH —

The Bottom Line:  Great staff from greeting soaking wet customers with a half price suite to the wonderful extras they have from booze to breakfast. Worth the price!

Ohio, The Buckeye State gave folks a nice deal for Kings Island, stay overnight in Cincinnati & get a FREE evening at the theme park. So I cashed in HiltonHHonor points for a free night. No bell or valet service here, a street of hotels surrounds you. A Tornado ripped thru the neighborhood 2 years ago wiping out multi million dollar estates. So hotels moved in..........

We drove to a parking spot under a light pole so no one plays with our vehicle. As we exited the SUV to walk in, their sprinkler system turned on soaking us! What a welcome! Luggage soaked, my hair was soaked, clothes on both of us soaked & we walk in & the entire crew came over to us asking if their sprinklers got us. We got 50% offer the room for what happened. VERY NICE!

Being HiltonHHonor Gold we are upgraded to the Penthouse level suite, a corner view with extra windows. This place is all suites so not much of a upgrade but the full wall of windows was nice. We could see the fireworks from the park since we exited an hour before closing to miss the mad rush. Then we get a knock on the door & a gal with maps, 2 bottles of water, cookies & chips in a basket as a welcome package. Again this was very nice.

4-6 is FREE BOOZE for the Manager's Party, nice hors d'oeuvre with a killer Cosmopolitan. So glad the shuttle was taking us to the park so I could party & not drive. Worth the $25 charge for 2 days.

After an evening at Kings Island we were tired & hit the bed & don't remember covering up. A very restful night, quiet hotel, so we shower & dress & its 6AM & breakfast is being cooked the way you want it. This is service! Everything omelet for me, husband has sausage, bacon, all the cheeses omelet. A cute little boy (about 4) was trying to get some bacon, so we picked him up and handed him a plate & he asked so nicely for some that the cook came right to his table with a plateful. Then he walks to our table giving us some. He was a doll.....

Checkout is at noon, we were a bit late getting back but luggage was packed, in our SUV we just didn't check out. But no problem when we got back at 3PM. Sunday is a slow day so they just gave us our bill & we gave them our keys.

Will definitely be back again when in Cinci! From the suites to the staff, they were #1 in town.
