Tickle Me Elmo was purchased for my son when he was about 6 months old and was showing some interest in the noises Elmo made on Sesame Street. When we first showed it to him, he was petrified of it! He was scared of the laughing because it is quite loud, and was scared whenever Elmo would move towards him. We put it away for a while, until my son was a little older. He LOVES every and any thing Sesame Street, so we brought it back out. He is now just over 2 and has been exposed to Tickle Me Elmo regularely and he still hesitates around him. Tickle Me Elmo is so cute to buy for your little one or even as a gift!! When it laughs I find myself luaghing at it too. My son loved the Elmo doll when we bought it for him on Christmas.  It definitely entertained him and made him giggle!  it was very loud and a bit annoying to other family members!  It's a good toy to bring out once a month for a day, otherwise the fun wears off quickly.  The product does have a mechanical sound when Elmo changes positions.  We purchased the Tickly Me Elmo that had "hidden" movements.  We found a few of the hidden things that Elmo could do; however, we definitely did not find all of them.  The product uses a lot of batteries and they tend to wear out quickly.  I would not...

Tickle Me Elmo is the most amazing and fun loving toy my daughter has ever had. I bought my daughter Tickle Me Elmo for her first birthday and she absolutely never puts him down. You simply just push his hand or foot and he starts to vibrate and jump everywhere.Tickle Me Elmo is amazingly funny and can move just about anywhere! He talks a great deal of words so it may get on a parents nerves but he is very simple to switch off (behind her back). My daughter loves to try to cuddle with him at night. We received the EXtra Special Tickle Me Elmo as a 1st birthday gift for my daughter. It's funny to watch, but she prefers to watch from my lap usually. The songs are hard to understand and his movements are jerky at best. We didn't even use him that much and the batteries were dead less than 6 weeks later. I think we're going for a more traditional stuffed version next time.

My kids and I really like this tickle me elmo. It has keeps them entertained and goes every where with us.  My kids have other toys to play with but this is by far their favorite. I'm glad I got it for them. I actually bought my niece a tickle me elmo since she liked it so much when she came over to visit, she wanted to take t home but my kids wouldn't part with it.

My daughter absolutely LOVES Elmo! We came across the tickle me Elmo at Walmart. My daughter was absolutely determined to get it that day but, we decided to wait and suprise her with it on her birthday! That was on her first birthday; to this day, as she nears her 3rd birthday, Tickle Me Elmo is still a favorite toy! 

My  year old daughter got this for christmas 1 year ago when she was 1 1/2 years old and was terrified. My son who was was 9months at the time loved it and still does! I think its a very cute toy.

The elmo is wonderful, it kept my daughters busy for hours at a time. If your child loves ELMO this is a great toy for them
