good amenities, efficient check-in, clean rooms, comfortable, great dining options, great location, well maintained, great staff, great value

Excellent hotel. Wine and cheese every day from 5:00-6:00 PM, was excellent. Very neat historic area of Charleston. The only bummer was there is no hotel parking lot. Parking garage was expensive, we were charged when our car was garaged and esp. every time we left the garage and returned.

Dining: Long Walk, Excellent dining places for lunch and dinner. We recommend High Cotton on East Bay Street. Appox. one mile or less from hotel. Excellent food with jazz vocal entertainment. you might call ahead for a reservation.
