What can I write or say about this book that hasn't already been written by a critic.  This book is written for every woman and every man who has ever had a conflict in their life.  Even if you are not going through a divorce, like me, or have never been through a divorce, you can relate to how she feels about life.  I just love the fact that first she ate her way through feeling better about herself, then she went to an ashram and prayed, and lastly she learned how to love herself from the inside out.  Hence, the title eat, pray, and love.  The details of Italy, and India, and the ashram were just so descriptive that you felt you were actually there with her.  She writes such vivid details of describing how she felt her life had just been torn apart and how she spent a year rebuilding it step by step.  I know we would all love to be able to afford to take a year off and just travel to get our lives back together, but she shows how you can take just a half hour a day to feel better about yourself and learn to love yourself.  This book just helped my self esteem soar and told me about some of the mistakes I had done in my life to help sabotage my life.  Just pick it up and you can't put it back down until you finish it.
