Everyone will probably be glad to know that this is hopefully my last word(s) about McAfee Security software problems and complications.

I wrote a review about McAfee a few days ago and am really surprised that only six people have read it and it has received no Helpful Votes.  I'm not complaining (REALLY I'm not) but I am genuinely surprised because a Yahoo tech told me over the phone yesterday that they have been receiving "many calls" about this problem, except that most people don't seem to realize that it is a McAfee problem and they think there is something wrong with their Yahoo connection.

By the time I caved in and phoned for help, McAfee had paralyzed my computer so much that none of my "links" worked and it took forever just for me to follow the steps the Yahoo rep was telling me to do.  Thank God, he was knowledgable and patient but my system was moving so slowly, he finally had to take over remote control just to finally "scrub" the McAfee from my computer.  The minute the McAfee security software was gone and I rebooted, everything immediately went back to normal except that by now my computer communication with the printer was shot and I had to uninstall and reinstall my Lexmark software.

NOW everything is fine.  Don't bother reading my review, here it is in a nutshell -- if you have recently installed McAfee Security software and suddenly nothing is working, or taking forever to work -- THAT may be it.  According to the guy from Yahoo, McAfee works fine for some people and is a disaster for others, even sometimes those with new computers.
