Best Buy is a good site for that because a lot of people tend to go review their stuff there since they bought it there.  Plus they let you checkmark three or four items to compare side by side which helped me a lot when I was looking at cameras.

CNet.com is a good site for cell phones.

What's really confusing about cell phone shopping is that a phone can be called one name from one cellular provider and another name from a different cellular provider. An example is the LG Rumor, a fairly nifty "candy-bar" style phone with a slide-out keyboard. It's particularly good if you do a lot of texting. Anyway, it's called the "Rumor" if you get it from Sprint, but it's called the "Scoop" if you get it from Alltel. This actually happens to a lot of different phones and it makes it tough to shop.

Well if you already know what provider you are using, that narrows it down quite a bit.  It's probably best to shop providers first (if you don't have one) and know what plan you want and such before you go looking for cell phones.
