Electrolux EW30EF65GS Review

My wife and I bought this Electrolux range (model # EW30EF65GS) after looking at lots of different models in lots of price ranges.  It listed for $2499.00 but we were able to get the floor model for under $2000.00.  It may seem expensive but it has definitely proved to us that this purchase was money well spent.

It is has a very "easy on the eyes", clean appearance which is helped by the electronic touchpad control panel which turns itself off when not in use so that all you will see is the clock telling you the time of day.  Just touch it with your finger and it comes back to life.  Lots of options for the top burners for both width and power levels.  The main oven has three racks which are all usuable and it has a plug in probe that you can use to cook meats to exact internal temperature and then shut down to a warming mode. The second smaller oven is great for when you have two things that you want to prepare at once but they have to cooked at different temperatures.  Problem solved, (plus there are two seperate timers to keep track of each task)!  Also has a convection feature if you want to speed up the cooking process (main oven only).

The only thing that is inconvenient is that the electronic controls will not respond when you touch them with a glove or cooking mitt on your hand.  You have to use your bare finger to make it react.
