Primary Cook in-da-house- Initial impression after 3 months, $2,400 buys a lot of Stove and the quality is there in most places. The control panel is awesome, it's like nothing I have ever seen. If Lexus ever built a Stove, this is it. You can change the size of three of the burners with a touch. Lighted warning symbols on the Touch Wave panel show recently used burners that are turned off but are still hot. That’s Cool.
It is however, a bit overloaded with user settings, cooking temperatures and preset cooking programs. It also has a convection system in the main oven with the most attractive cobalt blue porcelain oven interior I have ever seen. The oven racks have full bearing suspensions that allow them to glide out of the oven SMOOTHLY letting you remove the cake or pie. I bet I won’t spill that pumpkin pie filling when sliding the rack back into the oven this year!
The Wave Touch Panel is a beautiful example of function, safety, and control. Did I mention that the controls have controls? Overnight house guests will not be able to boil water for tea if they get up before you do. Oven “set”, broiler “set”, convection “set”, 550 degrees “Set” and nothing happens until you hit the “Start” button- when you find it. Really nice stove, if all you have is 220v in the kitchen this is the Bomb! I still haven’t used many of the features… I will need to update this review in a few months.
