I was extremely impressed by the atmosphere and service of the new El Mezcal restaurant that recently opened on Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. The interior was clean and cozy, and the restroom immaculate. I was immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant, and had my drink and complimentary chips in less than five minutes. The menu is extensive and includes a number of very reasonably priced lunch specials. Our waitperson very graciously and patiently described several dishes with which my friends and I were unfamiliar. Our food arrived promptly, was tasty and served at the appropriate temperature. Upon completion of our meal, the cashier divided our bill not only without argument, but with a smile. I will definitely return.
