Well I just bought this game and I was enthralled to start playing it when I got it installed. So during this review I will be posting ways of defeating bosses, gameplay, graphics, requirements, and I'll be posting my very own screenshots!

The games story is as followed:

The Joker masterminds to get into the Asylum while Harley is waiting (some how she's loose in the Asylum) anyways, The Joker breaks loose and takes over the entire Island and it's up to Batman (you) to take control over the place.

The first actual kind of boss you'll face is during the beginning. Victor Zsasz.

When you first enter the room, you'll see that he has a hostage, you cannot let him see you. Above you'll see some Gargoyles, you use them to sneak around and behind him, come up and do a silent take down, and that is lights out for Victor!

The next is some experiment that The Joker sends for you to defeat. You have to dodge him a lot, and keep attacking him, very shortly, his head will bust and he dies quite easily. He's not an easy boss but not very hard either. It will take a few tries to get used to what he does and how to move and so forth.

The next one you face is Scarecrow. now this is pretty easy:

When you enter the stage you'll see Scarecrow in the center of this odd vortexed world and his eyes are shining onto the path. You must RUN and do NOT let him see you at all. You have to reach the Batman Beacon, don't do anything else but RUN. Once you pass this, you'll be back into the morgue. If his eyes see you, you gotta start back at the beginning, so be patient, only run when his eye view passes you.

The next boss (which is my last one to post, cause I am not very far yet) is Bane!

Ok, I've seen a lot of posts on the net about people not able to beat Bane. Ok, this guy is pretty damn simple for me. It's basic actually, you gotta use your Quick Batarang! When he starts charging at you, you should be near a wall, throw a Batarang at him, and he will cover his face and smack the wall, which reduces his health. He has 3 sections to his health, once you get a section down, you must attack him, then Batman will get on his back and rip a hose off. Repeat this a total of 3 times until he is defeated! You must double tap (which on the PC version is) space. Double tap space and either a right or left direction so Batman dodges him charging at you. Easy enough! May take a few tries to learn his speed and yours.

[I'll post more as I go through the game, I am not even near finished with it. But this should help you get passed most of the harder spots in the game]

Graphics: Well you can see that the graphics of this game are pretty good. It's like watching a Batman movie. So I give it a 5/5 on its own.

Controls: The controls are very easy in this game and are very fluid, meaning that you're not fighting your controls to see and be able to fight.

Requirements:

Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: Pentium 4 @ 3 GHz/AMD Athlon64 3000+
Memory: 1 GB
Hard Drive: 9 GB Free
Video Memory: 256 (nVidia GeForce 6600/ATI Radeon X1300)
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
DirectX: 9.0c
Keyboard & Mouse
DVD Rom Drive

Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: Pentium D @ 3 GHz/AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+
Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 9 GB Free
Video Memory: 512 MB (nVidia GeForce 7900 GT)
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
DirectX: 9.0c or 10
Keyboard & Mouse
DVD Rom Drive

Gameplay: Well it is a 3rd Person game, and no, I normally do not like 3rd Person, but this game seems to make it easier. The engine runs great, I have my settings maxed other than Shadows and Antialliasing is at 2x.

You also get to unlock Challenges, Trophies and other stuff in the game which is something cool to take screenshots of and make your very own wallpapers of non-other than Batman! sweet....

That is it for the review for now, I will update this later as a FAQ to help you get through the game.

Now onto the screenshots!!!

In response to Reviewlady21's comment from Sep 22, 2009 at 3:40PM:

Scarecrow, I've gotten passed him. Killer Croc seems to be giving me problems though lol. Scarecrow, just keep watching how he moves, then run like hell!! You have to do these stages quite often and it does get annoying. When I get a chance to, I'd like to do How To's on Youtube for people that may have trouble with parts in this game. Believe me though, i've died countless times in this game lol

my brother owns the PS3 version. I hate the part were you go up against scarecrow, everytime I think I have a opening I accidently get in his range and he spots me. aside from that it's a great game!
