Bottom-Line: I am sold on Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream, so much so that I will not purchase any other brand.

I like ice cream!  And to my palate seasons as it has been be world travel, the best ice cream is to be had in the United States.  And one of the best store bought ice creams on the...

Espresso chip is on of the Edy's brand Fun Flavors of ice cream.  It is very good and actually the only flavor I will buy from Edy's.  It is coffee ice cream with chocolate espresso flavored chips.

Con - Sometimes the flavor is very hard to find or out of stock in my local Publix and is impossible...

We actually got the sugar free version of Edy's (Dryer's on our half of the US) Ice cream in Vanilla.  It was hands down THE BEST vanilla ice cream I've ever had, sugar free or not.

We ate half of it straight out of the container, and used the rest later to make strawberry shakes.

Excellent!

I love ice cream.  My family calls me the "Ice Cream Queen".  Edy's makes terriffic ice cream!!!  I've been trying to eat more healthy and this has been great for me.  It's very creamy and is full of flavor.  I would tell everyone I know to try it.

I love ice cream, but I am always looking to find a healthier variety, and Edy's wins with this line of desserts.  So many light ice creams are packed with artificial ingredients or lose their taste with the calories, not Edy's.  Edy's Slow Churned ice cream is thick and creamy and tastes like the full fat varieties only it is good for you.  Each of the slow churned delights is made with 1/2 the fat, 1/3 the amount of calories, and the rich, decadent flavor of regular ice cream.  This healthier version is definitely great.  Each flavor is smooth and creamy and every spoonful will satisfy your... review »

I don't eat this ice cream because it's lower in calories, I eat it because it tastes GREAT!  Plain vanilla is the best, to me.  It reminds me of the homemade ice cream my grandparents use to churn on the back pation when I was a little girl.

It's creamy, not as hard as other ice cream, and has a made from scratch taste.  I love ALL ice cream, don't get me wrong.  I'm something of a connossieur, being that I would eat it all day long, every day, if I could get away with it!  But Edy's Slow Churned is simple, and not too heavy.  It's great on a hot day.

And if you're counting calories, this...

I love the Edy's Slow Churned Ice Creams; they taste just as good as the regular full fat ice cream.

My two current favorites are theTake The Cake and the Pumpkin varieties.

Take The Cake taste just like yellow cake, with "confetti" and swirls of frosting blended in. Who needs cake when you can get it in your ice cream? This is my favorite flavor.

My second favorite is the limited edition Pumpkin; with some Reddi Whip topping on it, it is a healthier alternative to traditional pumpkin pie, and in my opinion, taste a lot better! My only complaint is that it is hard to find; but it must be that other...

Edy's Slow Churned ice cream is the closest to the real thing as I have ever had.  Edy's Slow Churned contained less fat and sugar than regular ice cream but somehow has retained the creamy texture and taste of the real thing.

The Dulce de Leche (caramel) is especially good.   It is a real treat for me that I do not have to feel guilty about enjoying.

I have tried all kinds of low fat, low calorie, etc., etc. ice creams, but this in the first that I have really enjoyed.

If you are trying to watch your calories and still want to actually enjoy what you are eating, this is the ice cream...

We all like ice cream, i during the summer. Unfortunately most of brands are either really bad for us (loaded with sugar, fat and artificial colorings) or taste like frozen soft drink (no creaminess...) and still are not really healthy (artificial sweeteners etc,) I don't think I could tell the difference between the regular and the light Edy's. They are both really creamy and rich but light contain much less fat and calories. They are a perfect little dessert for a hot summer afternoon.

Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream is not a new product, but I'd still like to give Kudos to the folks at Edy's for coming up with such a yummy ice cream. I have tried a good deal of low-fat and fat-free ice creams. The down side to many is either the too-sweet taste or the texture. Edy's Slow Churned is creamy in taste and in texture, and does not taste low-fat. I have bought both French Silk and Vanilla. Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream is a low-fat treat that tastes like a guilty indulgence!

I hadn't really wanted to go out and try this product, since we don't typically keep ice cream in our house.  My parents had it at there house one weekend I visited, and we had some for dessert.  OMG it was so delicious!  I literally read the carton three times to make sure I understood how this ice cream could possibly have less fat and taste so rich and creamy!

I love this ice cream, and will always choose it over the other commonly marketed products!

I always avoided light/reduced fat ice cream because I didn't think it would taste good. Lately, though, I have been more concerned about gaining weight because I'm not getting any younger! I thought I would try Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream because Edy's makes the best regular ice cream. I really didn't think it tasted like a light ice cream at all. It was really good and was even better than some other brands regular ice cream.

My husband is an ice cream junkie, but like most of us he likes ot watch the fat and calories. So I am always lookings for better alternatives. Edy's fits the bill. Their slow churned light ice creams are smooth and delicious. You will never miss the extra fat and sugars.

It comes in plenty of flavors. My husband likes the cookies & cream and I am a bit partial to the coffee (when I eat ice cream).

Edy's slow churned ice cream is so creamy and tasty it is even better than the full fat version.  I can't keep it in the freezer.  We always enjoyed ice cream on occasion, but with Edy's slow churned, no guilt icream it is always disappearing.  They have many different flavors and the fact that it is healthier, makes it hard to resist.

This is the best light ice cream I've found, and I've tried a few.  After eating this, you won't want the 'greasy' taste of regular ice cream.  Lots of flavors to choose from and it's frequently on sale at my grocery store.  The best part is..  you can eat twice as much for the same fat/calories. (just kidding... maybe!)
