Most HelpfulBottom-Line: I am sold on Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream, so much so that I will not purchase any other brand.
I like ice cream! And to my palate seasons as it has been be world travel, the best ice cream is to be had in the United States. And one of the best store bought ice creams on the...

Most HelpfulEspresso chip is on of the Edy's brand Fun Flavors of ice cream. It is very good and actually the only flavor I will buy from Edy's. It is coffee ice cream with chocolate espresso flavored chips.
Con - Sometimes the flavor is very hard to find or out of stock in my local Publix and is impossible...
review »We actually got the sugar free version of Edy's (Dryer's on our half of the US) Ice cream in Vanilla. It was hands down THE BEST vanilla ice cream I've ever had, sugar free or not.
We ate half of it straight out of the container, and used the rest later to make strawberry shakes.
Excellent!
I love ice cream. My family calls me the "Ice Cream Queen". Edy's makes terriffic ice cream!!! I've been trying to eat more healthy and this has been great for me. It's very creamy and is full of flavor. I would tell everyone I know to try it.
I don't eat this ice cream because it's lower in calories, I eat it because it tastes GREAT! Plain vanilla is the best, to me. It reminds me of the homemade ice cream my grandparents use to churn on the back pation when I was a little girl.
It's creamy, not as hard as other ice cream, and has a made from scratch taste. I love ALL ice cream, don't get me wrong. I'm something of a connossieur, being that I would eat it all day long, every day, if I could get away with it! But Edy's Slow Churned is simple, and not too heavy. It's great on a hot day.
And if you're counting calories, this...
review »Edy's Slow Churned ice cream is the closest to the real thing as I have ever had. Edy's Slow Churned contained less fat and sugar than regular ice cream but somehow has retained the creamy texture and taste of the real thing.
The Dulce de Leche (caramel) is especially good. It is a real treat for me that I do not have to feel guilty about enjoying.
I have tried all kinds of low fat, low calorie, etc., etc. ice creams, but this in the first that I have really enjoyed.
If you are trying to watch your calories and still want to actually enjoy what you are eating, this is the ice cream...
review »Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream is not a new product, but I'd still like to give Kudos to the folks at Edy's for coming up with such a yummy ice cream. I have tried a good deal of low-fat and fat-free ice creams. The down side to many is either the too-sweet taste or the texture. Edy's Slow Churned is creamy in taste and in texture, and does not taste low-fat. I have bought both French Silk and Vanilla. Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream is a low-fat treat that tastes like a guilty indulgence!
My husband is an ice cream junkie, but like most of us he likes ot watch the fat and calories. So I am always lookings for better alternatives. Edy's fits the bill. Their slow churned light ice creams are smooth and delicious. You will never miss the extra fat and sugars.
It comes in plenty of flavors. My husband likes the cookies & cream and I am a bit partial to the coffee (when I eat ice cream).
This is the best light ice cream I've found, and I've tried a few. After eating this, you won't want the 'greasy' taste of regular ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from and it's frequently on sale at my grocery store. The best part is.. you can eat twice as much for the same fat/calories. (just kidding... maybe!)
