University of Phoenix - BSBA
Although a good education can be had, the money is extreme. In getting an on-line degree, I ended up owing UOP over $30,000 and this did not include the grant money (Pell) I received each semester/class. After interest, had I taken the time given to pay the loan, the total would have been over $60K. The job market does not support making enough money (for someone with a Bachelors only) to pay this off in a worthwhile manner. Thankfully I received an inheritance with which I paid the balance.
Anyone going for a BSBA should think twice about going to UoP. The program is great and the teachers (for...
review »San Antonio College
The music program at San Antonio College is a fantastic program at a fair price for those who are interested in majoring in music and humanities. The various programs offered at this particular college are among some of the following : music theory, music literature, music appreciation, american music, piano class, guitar class, brass ensemble, jazz ensemble, latin jazz, and even private lessons for a cheap price per semester. The private lessons offered to the music majors are the cheapest u can find around town because you only pay every semester not every time u have a private lesson. The SAC...

review »Goucher College
Goucher College is renowned for its liberal arts education. As a current student I can tell you that the classes that you can take here and the things you'll learn are one hundred percent useful towards your future life. The class size here ranges from some of the bigger lectures ( 60 students) to the more specific courses (12 students). You will be paired up with an academic advisor who is a valuable source for answering quesitons on anything academic.
The campus life here is very "heady" or hippy and free spirited. Goucher is a VERY liberal school. Goucher is on the edge of Baltimore and not...
review »Smith College
The music department at Smith college has been my saving grace this past semester. The faculty within this department have helped me not only in the music courses and programs, but in choosing a wide range of classes and adjusting to college life. These wonderful mentors are knowledgeable in their area of expertise, but also in general knowledge of the rest of the college environment. As a first year student, the change from a public high school where I knew everybody to a college environment where I knew no one was a very hard change for me emotionally. If I did not have the consistency of my...
review »Polk Community College
PCC was a nice small college to take some classes during the summer. If you liked high school and are not ready for a real "change", this is the place for you. I would not suggest this school if you are someone who is ready to be out in the real world and looking to live on your own.
Franklin and Marshall College
As a fourth year student here, I am grateful for the experiences I encountered while studying at F&M. From the approachable professors to the multitude of clubs and organizations with which to get involved, I truly received a first-hand liberal arts education. Classes are thought-provoking and challenging, and professors make students apply past experiences to current situations. Professors are incredibly helpful with not only class material, but with guidance for future endeavors and assistance with projects.
Additionally, the school has a house system under which the dorms are run. Through...

review »Penn Foster Career school - Physical Therapy Aide
I loved learning about Physical Therapy Treatments I would have to perform under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. It was also knowing that if I needed help I could call and talk to a Live person. The work at your own pace atmosphere was very rewarding.
