On our dear Mom Mom's 95th birthday, someone sent an Edible Arrangement to her birthday party.  It looked like a beautiful bouquet of flowers in yellows, reds and oranges but upon closer inspection it was actually a unique fruit basket with skewers of pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and grapes fashioned into flowers. Mom Mom was so proud of this unique gift.  We ate from the back of the arrangement so she could enjoy it even longer and the fruit was quite good.  It tasted fresh.  Finally, we took some pictures so we could enjoy more of the arrangement.

This was my first experience with Edible Arrangements and their edible birthday bouquets.  Since then I 've enjoyed sending them as an alternative to flowers or candy for Easter.  Of course you can send chocolate covered fruit as well!  These arrangements are really appreciated by recipients of all ages.  So far all of our Edible Arrangements have been delivered looking and tasting good.

For kids' birthday parties Edible Arrangements has now included Disney, Mickey Mouse Club House, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob, Sesame Street, Thomas and Friends and Hello Kitty arrangements.

Edible Arrangements are expensive.

These fresh, unique gifts don't come at a bargain price.  They are generally $60.00 and up. You'll often spend more on an Edible Arrangement than a delivered bouquet of flowers yet, not really more than many of the gift baskets from Harry & David.  Edible Arrangements are not available everywhere but so far our delivery requests have been honored.

My Viewpoint:  Edible Arrangements of fresh fruits fashioned into floral arrangements are unique, healthier than candy and more practical than flowers.  You won't have a cuter Easter basket or prettier Easter bouquet delivered but be ready to pay for the appreciation and adoration to follow.

I've always wondered about these, and I really enjoyed your review. My budget won't make them possible right now, but they are a wonderful gift idea, and you've made a convincing case for
how attractive they really are. Thanks!

I think these are absolutely beautiful! Tasty too! Just wish the price tag wasn't so large, or else I'd get these for myself from time to time. Great review on a fun product!

Great gift idea if a person can fit into their budget. I always get hungry when I read about these fruit bouquets. Yum! : )

These are really unique and although pricey, they actuallys seem worth it.

Too bad they don't offer different sized arrangements to accomodate different budgets. Nice review.

I have been seeing commercials for these a lot lately. I couldn't afford to send one but I have a friend that keeps hinting at sending one. Hmm...problem is, I only eat bananas.

YUM! I still remember getting one of these when Grace was born, 2 years ago but I dared anyone to eat anything off of it. It was MINE! Great review.

I remember the first time I saw one of these. I was amazed. Then they told it cost $90 and I was sorry I didn't think of the idea first!
