Edible Arrangements —

My daughter was expecting her daughter at the end of September. She came early. Her name is Emma.  Well, Amber my daughter said she had not had any cravings, that was in June.  Around August she called and said "Mom, I'm having a craving and the only thing that I want is an edible blah blah blah, I had no idea what she was talking about. She kept calling me and finally I said well what is it and how much is it?  She explained about the fruit, the arrangement, and the chocolate and the melon flowers that she just had to have. I finally decided to surprise her and order one for her birthday, her birthday is 9/2 and Emma was born on 9/5!  I ordered through the website, picked lots of chocolate and melon and strawberries and she was so exteremely happy!  She and her little cousin age 10 sat down that morning and ate almost the whole basket for breakfast. The child got sick and she was satisfied.

i agree these baskets are pretty but i used to work at one store and they are disgusting back there. the way the fruit is handled and the fruit touches everything, including tables, sinks etc. The fruit is left in the refrigerator for days cut up and sometimes we would make the baskets the night before and sell them the next day. A basket probably costs about 5 bucks to make and yet people are paying 60-70 dollars for them! incredible. this is something you could do at home for a much more reasonable price! all it is is cut up fruit on sticks!
