We have an older Eden Pure model, the large 1000, not one of the X-models or Gen models.  Our model has the adjustable thermostat on the back, a dial that you can turn up or down to adjust the temperature in the room.  The design is black and burled walnut-wood finish.  The front just has the on/off...

I just bought the EdenPURE GEN3 Model 1000 Quartz Infrared Portable Heater a few days ago. It doesn't do anything else more than a regular 1500 W fan space heater but its cost is $397.00. You can find any other space heater that works with a fan and you get the same results. I tried it for a few days...

my edenpure is blowing mildew air! many others i know of r too!

like my sentence above,mine is new this past december,,,,, the edenpure 1000 has kept me warmer but it has developed a mildew smell from the air blowing out of it,,,,,,,,,
