We bought the 25000 BTU Eden Pure Quartz Heater last year and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Our house is open with a sloped ceiling that at it's peak is 18 feet. The upstairs part is all open as well as the dining room and kitchen. We heat with a wood stove when it gets really cold, ( we do not have a furnance) and use a small propane wall heater for the days that are cold but not freezing. It does fine but needed a little something extra to take the chill out and keep it comfortable. Who would have thought that this Eden Pure heater would do so much in such a big space! Does it get hot in here, no, but it keeps it very comfortable considering all the space it is trying to cover. We don't have any heat ran to our bedrooms downstairs, as we like to sleep cool, but some nights you have to have it. This big of heater is too much for our 13x14 bedrooms individually, so we put it in the hallway and it heats both rooms and actually gets hot to us. Our electric bill runs about $90-110.00 per month and that not only includes our house and all the things we use constantly(i.e. coffee pot, computers, tv's) but our 24x 32 workshop as well as a 12x24 storage building that we have our freezer in. So you tell me, how expensive is it to use? To me it is amazing that so much warmth can come from such a small unit and it looks good in the front room as well.
