Eddie and the Cruisers is a 1983 movie that is about a fictional band. It is set in the 1960's. It is about a television reporter who is investigating the mysterious death of Eddie Wilson (MIchael Pare) and the bands second album that disappeared after Eddie's death.

The movie shows how the band played together, and hung out together. It shows the way they were making a name for their self playing in New Jersey. At a bar in New Jersey is where they meet Frank (Tom Berenger) whom Eddie hires to be the keyboard player and the lyricist for the band. Eddie gives Frank the nickname of "Wordman".

Movie: Eddie and The Crusiers.

This is a film not many people have seen or remember coming out. I saw this as a teenager and fell in love with it and the sequel that followed. It has all the right elements in it, fun, danger, romance, and sad at times. The entire movie is about this band from no where that can rock every town, school and show they do, however some of the band members have problems themselves. It is about a band struggling to over come each of their inner demons. A great movie.
