Not impressed

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We purchased this for our oldest daughter 4 years ago thinking it would be the best and it is not. It's adequit but pales in comparisson to our Graco. The headrest pushes the babies head forward and provides absolutely no support once they fall asleep and it can't be removed. I don't like the way it reclines either. It takes up way to much space in the car when rear facing. The seat in front of it couldn't be reclined at all and made long trips miserable. It also has a holder for the seat belt for when it's converted to a booster seat and it has sharp edges and I've scraped my arm on it several time reaching past it. It doeshave a cup holder but it doesn't stay on. Our daughter kept pulling ...

Great long term use

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I swear by these car seats. Our family now owns 4 for 2 kids. Once they left the infant car seat we made our first eddie bauer purchase. It was quickly followed by another for my husbands car. And then when my son came along I knew I wanted two more (my car and my hubby's car.) This seat will now last us through the booster stage. There is plenty of room in the seat for the child to fit comfortably yet still be secure. We have taken many trips to FL ( we are in GA) and the kids never complain about the seat not being comfortable. The car seat is easy to adjust. There are the straps themselves and the head height.

My only complaint is not really a complaint. I have 2 kids and with easy my children's car seats fit in the back and a skinny butt person too. However with the cup holder I had to borrow a friends skinny car seat to fit a third while I tempoarily drove a friends child to daycare. But these seats are no way as wide as the britax.

Disappointing.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I bought this after reading some reviews and doing some comparison shopping, but not enough.  I should have spent the extra money for a britax.  My complaints are similar to other parents, the headreast causes my son's head to flop forward if he falls asleep in it.  The cupholder is useless, we don't even try to use it.  The straps are hard to adjust and the back-pad slides down causing them to be more difficult to wrangle.  The biggest problem I have with it though is that the straps get so twisted and tangled every time we use it!  Even if I take my time and try to get them all fixed, they'll be twisted again later that day.  The seat is affordable and safe, but it has too many faults for me to recommend it.

Not so good

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Eddie Bauer Astoria Enspira Deluxe Convertible Car Seat is the item I would like to write a review on. I bought this at Target and the price was very reasonable and not too expensive. However, the color was nice and elegant. Also the texture was comfortable. I like it so much. However, I hate the head rest because it was too hard to adjust. Also it took some efforts adjusting the 5 point hardness belt. It was like wrestling with the champion - what a tough and hard job...

Aslo my little one can trying to get out of the car seat because I think the head rest was bothering her very much. I even tried to buy her several different types of&...

Lots of features

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We received this Eddie Bauer carseat as a hand-me-down from a friend after my son destroyed our previous car seat by pulling all of the Styrofoam padding off it while I had the cover in the washer.

We've been using it for a short time and have come to find it has it's pro's & con's.

We installed the seat forward facing and the install was very quick and easy. Adjusting the straps to the proper height was also fairly easy, but loosening them was not. They were difficult to pull out the first few times, but after a few tries it became easier.

The dark color of the seat is great for hiding messes and it is easy to remove for cleaning. While my ...

Best car seat ever

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this carseat for my 1 year old off Target. It had great reviews, and the price was cheaper than a lot of the other carseats on there with not so great reviews. It is very sleek looking, and my son loves it. He seems very comfortable and doesn't mind getting into his carseat, which he did with the previous carseat. It is very easy to clean, my son is always spilling snacks and juice in it and wipes spotless. It came with a cupholder which is perfect for his sippy and snacks, and the sides have mesh where I can store little toys in for him to play with. I wish it came with a better headrest, when he falls asleep in the car his head falls over. So, we went and bought a neck rest and it seems to keep him propt up. When installing it, the straps were a little hard to adjust. Overall, it's a very nice carseat and I would recommend it to any mom. And, it's a great price compared to a lot of other carseats that are not as nice.

This is a pretty nice car seat!!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My daughter grew out of her infant car seat when she was about 3 months old, so my grandmother got her a new car seat for Christmas and it happened to be the Eddie Bauer Astoria Enspira Deluxe Convertible Car Seat!  This is a very nice looking car seat and it seems to be a very trusted brand also.  It's fairly easy to buckle into the car, which is nice since we ride places with other people from time to time.  Also, it comes with a bunch of accessories, my favorite being the cup holder!  The only problem I really have with it is that it's hard to adjust the straps and that I can't buckle the part between her legs because she's too big and it bruises her legs, even at it's...

It's a pain in the neck

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

When my oldest child was a baby we bought him a 3 in 1 Eddie Bauer car seat. It was a great follow up to his carrier. I loved his so when I seen this one on sale at Target for $110 I bought it.

The Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible car seat was a good investment from a financial view. It prevents you from buying multiple seats. A child can weigh anywhere from 5 to 80 pounds. That may seem expensive but it really isn't. After all you are getting three seats in one.

I'll start with all the things I liked. I was immediately drawn to the colors. It's a black and gray, which means it easily hides stains. It has a 4 position adjustable headrest which allows you to move it up or down. ...

Safety first

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Well i don't have anything else to compare this to, cause when it comes to car seats and anything that has to do with the kids safety, then we always try to find the best.

Only think i can tell you about this car seat is that its awesome, it fits easy from either car, takes a little time to move it over with the 2 extra safety straps.

Its pretty versible right now, can adjust safety straps with one hand.

And the insert is very easy to clean, just undo the ties and throw it in the wash, and air dry, I have seen a few other seats where you couldn't remove all the fabric from the seat, that would never work for me, we have issues with pouring drinks out on purpose.

Only downside i would say i've seen in the amount of time we have had it is that you can't seem to adjust the straps individually, cause for some reason the little one likes to lean left and so one strap is tighter than the other, but he still can't lean far enough to free himself so all good.

Great for front facing/rear facing a challenge

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This was our second convertible car seat that we tried.  When we had our daughter rear facing it was a real challenge to get it installed correctly.  I will say it might have been the way our seats slant (we have an Acura MDX if that helps someone out there).  When we first installed it our daughter was hunched way over and screamed because she was uncomfortable.  We took the seat to the fire station because we could not figure it out and they put a pool noodle duct taped it together and wedged it under the seat.  They said because the seat slanted down there was no other way to install it correctly and they do it all the time.  (apparently this is common?). &nb...

Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible is user friendly...

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This car seat is easy to install, but on my Chrysler Aspen was very difficult to get it to set up at the proper angle while in the rear facing position.  It was no problem at all to set up in the front facing condition.

The seat is very easy to take apart, clean, and to put back together.  The seat seems to be comfortable for my baby now at 30lbs, but up until now seemed to be uncomfortable while he was sleeping due to insufficient head support.  He just could not seem to get comfortable (rear facing).

The seat easily fits in the back of my car as well (Mercedes CLK) and is easy to remove.  I have had zero problems moving it from vehicle to vehicle.

Overall for the price I paid for the Eddie Bauer Convertible seat I would say that it is a very good value.  Especially for the fact I will be using it all of the way up to 80lbs.  I compared several different models and did not find one that compared.

Great car seat, I would buy it!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Me personally I purchased this car seat for my son which is now 2, he still uses it. this car seat goes up to 100lbs, I know one day i even tested it out in sat in the car seat myself. I am only 110 pounds and i am slender so i  stuck or it was not hard for me to get out either. I plan on keeping this car seat untillmy other son which is 1 month grows up and is able to  use it. It is a bit pricey but it is so worth the price I think i paid $160 dollars just for the car seat it self. Its a face-forward car seat which is able for children that are able to sit up and is over the age of 12 months. the durability would last for awhile if you take care of the product and keep it cle...

Works great - used it with my two children

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have used this car seat for both of my chilren.  Once done with the car seat, they moved directly to a booster seat.  Also, this car seat can be used for an infant all the way up to age 3yrs.  I also thought the neutral color of the seat was nice.  Think there was a cup holder, but it was detachable - not certain.  I also like there is a second safety strap that can be used and hooked.  Very easy to install in the car, just put the seat belt through and buckle in.  Also has adjustable straps for baby . . . this was nice.  Sometimes children wear bulky clothes and the straps need to be loosened.   You can adjust the seat - it can lean backwards a bit for smaller child and then straighten or sit up right for older child. It also cleans up nicely.  You can't remove the seat cover, but you can clean it as its attached to the seat. Overall,  Eddie Bauer child seat is great - sturdy product and what else would you expect from Eddie Bauer . . .

The Best!!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My mother bought a Eddie Bauer  3 in 1 Convertible car seat for me and gave it to me at my baby shower.  I actually flipped out, because I knew that it was a more expensive seat than the others.  The phrase "You get what you pay for" really comes into play here.  This is the best car seat.  I had a Costco brand with my first child.  Wow what a difference.  The Eddie Bauer seat looks very nice and is made sturdy.  It actually feels much safer than the less expensive brands.  The infant seat comes with this great tilt feature, so when your little one falls asleep, you just tilt and they are in a craddle position rather than their little necks bobing all over the place.  After having this car seat, I will never buy anything else.  It is definetley worth spending the extra money.  I used this seat until my little girl was ready for a booster, and It still looks like it did the day I bought it.  Very sturdy!!

Love this Car Seat

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I really love this Car Seat. It's Durable, last's a while, and Is comfortable! Got the car seat when My daughter was about 7 months old. She's now 2 and is still using it with room to grow! She likes the cup holder that it comes with. It's easy to adjust the height. Just pull the handles and lift or lower the seat as needed. No Re-Threading the harnesses! love it. At first When I was looking to buy a car seat I wanted something that was comfortable and good for long trips. Well this one does it! It's great for those long trips. My Little Girl didn't sleep in her Car Seat until we got this one. We took a 3 hour trip last summer up to see her great grandma. She loved the ride and the view. She...
