My husband and I recently purchased the Eddie Bauer Elite 3-in-1 Car seat for our 9 mos old. He's over 20 lbs and shouldn't be in the rear facing infant seat that fits onto our stroller. We have the Eddie Bauer Travel system (stroller with matching infant seat and seat base) and have really liked it. So we were leaning towards the same type/brand of seat if we could get it. Most of the reviews online were good except for a couple complaints: hard to install in the rear facing position, and the buckle between the child's legs is on a too short strap. Apparently this seat CAN be installed rear facing but I think it's really built for a child over 20 pounds and the recommendation at that weight is to be forward facing. We didn't have any trouble getting it in our car (Mazda 6) but it did take a little time to get all the seat belts and things in the position we wanted them to be in (the ones in our car, not the ones on the seat). The buckle strap is a little on the short side but I haven't had any problems with it. It's much better than the buckle on the infant seat because you can latch each side instead of putting them together and then inserting into the buckle.
We don't plan on moving this seat as we only have one car, so it's in for the long haul. I haven't had to remove the cover to wash yet so I don't know how easy that's going to be.
All in all, it was a great purchase and my son is loving seeing out the windows and being more comfortable!
