This seat is safe, easy to use, and can be moved from car to car easily! The seat is great for parents who only want to buy one seat for the duration of your child's car seat life. Both of my children (ages three and four) have this seat and they can easily get in themselves, yet cannot yet unstrap themselves when it is time to get out. Car seats are a very big deal to me because we go alot of places and travel to see our families in Ohio and Wisconsin. I was reviewing all the carseats when I came across this one. I did so much research that I was seeing it in my sleep. It's safe, reclines (which  my 3 year old son loves), grows with him...up too 100 pounds and very comfortable. This carseat is an overall very good carseat.  We have purchased three of these carseats and have had great luck with all of them.  I like that they go from infant to booster seats.  The seem to be very comfortable for the children and they are easy to get them in and out of.  They seem to be very easy to wipe down though they are a little hassel to take apart to wash.  They adjust very easliy  when trying to adjust the straps or move the height up and down.  Although, I do not lilke that the straps seem to get twisted a lot.  There is a recline position which makes it nice when they...

We got this car seat in 2003 as a gift for our new little arrival. It was weird taking our new little one out of a car seat, because we had one of those carrier types when we brought our first child home in 1994. We quickly realized how much lighter it was to not have to carry the carrier around! Babies DO FIT into regular strollers too!!! We didn't have to have a special stroller/car seat combo thing. The Eddie Bauer Alpha Omega car seat has been the best seat for my son, Jacob, who is now two years old. We started him in the seat when he was just a few weeks old. The seat has gone from rear facing then to front facing now. It fits so well into my car, and I have a tiny little two door car, its very sturdy and does not move around like the other seat that we have in our truck!
