AI purchased the Aria stroller and infant car seat. The infant seat is WONDERFUL, but the stroller had one huge fault... it doesn't steer. I think I should have bought the Plikko, but the Aria was small enough to fit in my husbands car. It's light and easy to fold down. I was even happy with the space underneath, considering it's size. But I cannot get over how difficult it is to keep the darned stroller going straight.

In light of all of the recent recall on childrens toys manufactured in China, I would strongly suggest that all parents go to recalled products on the web to see if any of thier childerns toys are included, this could mean better safety for our children.

When it comes to car seats for children, that is number one on my list of child safety.  I want to make sure that my grandchildren are strapped in securely and in the event of an accident or mishap, they will be protected and not harmed.  Child safety is very important to me.  This is a great car seat and is highly recommended for children.  Great neutral colors.

Cons:The instruction manual is poorly detailed.  I had to install the car seat in the rear-facing position for my 5 month old because he grew out of his other seat.  The images and text were hard to follow, especially for a first-time parent installing a car seat.   The straps of the 5-point harness wrinkle too easily, so it's hard to get them straight through the proper loops of the buckle, etc.The seat could be made slightly narrower as it's a bit wide when put in the middle between 2 other passengers.Pros: The padding is not too bulky and the color is neutral.  Love the mesh bags on the side.

If this had not been given to me as a gift I NEVER would have purchased this for myself. The infant seat is very heavy. That is fine for someone who is taking it for short treks. It is not easy for one who relies on public transportation. I only used the strap in base once and it did not seem to work right. The base kept sliding around in the seat no matter how tight I made the seatbelt. It was also difficult for me to get the carseat out of the base. The weight of the seat had some play in this difficulty. It was also confusing how to put the straps back into the seat once I took it apart to wash it. The foam padding under the cover is not removeable, making it difficult to clean. I did appreciate how easy the cover was to remove, wash, and replace. I also liked the way the buckle is designed. It was confusing at first, but once I caught on to it, it was simple to operate. I liked that the buckle could be released one handed. The stroller is very bulky and heavy. Lugging both the infant seat and stroller onto a bus on a regular basis was not easy. The stroller takes up a lot of space, even when folded. I like how the bar folds down for locking in the car seat. This amde me feel very secure in walking around town with this system. However, it was a bit of a pain to unzip the liner and raise the bar before placing the carseat into the stroller. I would trade that bit of inconvenience for the sense of safety the bar adds to the system. I felt very secure that if someone bumped into the stroller that the carseat would stay intact. I would not have this same sense of safety with other strollers where the seat just clips onto the tray of the stroller. I like the removeable tray on the stroller. For a smaller child it provides restraint and for an older child a place for a drink and a snack. For an older child it can be removed for more freedom. And if a child is asleep with the bar on, it can be quickly and quietly removed to make removal of the child easier with no bar to get in the way. It also makes for easy clean up if a child makes a mess in the tray. I was not pleased with how awkward it was to open and close the stroller. I would think a stroller of this caliber would be a one handed open. I think it is meant for that, but it does not work like that.It takes two hands or a hand and foot to open it fully to where it locks into place. When opening, if you try to open it and not press the lock release handle it will lock the stroller from opening. This happened to me when the bus driver tried to open it for me when I got off the bus. I ended up carrying the car seat across the parking lot and rolling the stroller, still folded up, behind me. As I struggled with getting it open in front of the doctor's office an employee came out to help me and happened to figure out how to get it unlocked. I was ready to throw the whole thing away after that ordeal. I can't begin to comment on difficulty of removing the stroller fabric. There are far too many screws to take out for me to try and wash it. If I used it more, I probably would try and remove all those screws to clean it. Instead I just have my son hold my hand and we walk together. The stroller is more hassle than it is worth. This is a nice looking stroller that has a known name, but not very efficient. It is big, bulky, and heavy and that is before adding a baby to the system. If I had a big SUV, a spacious house, and arms of steel this would not be such a bad choice. But for me, this is just not efficient. It looks good, but that's about it.

FOR STARTERS  IT IS VERY EASY TO CLEAN JUST POP IT OFF AND THROW IT IN THE WASHER, SIMPLE!!!! IT ALSO HAS A FIVE HARNESS RESTRAINT FOR BEST OVERALL PROTECTION EVER, WHY USE ANYTHING BUT THE BEST FOR YOUR BUNDLE OF JOY!!! THE TRAVEL SYSTEM ITSELF IS VERY STURDY AND NOT CHEAPLY MADE. IT COMES IN A VARITY OF PATTERNS AND COLORS SO WHEITHER YOUR HAVING A BOY OR A GIRL IT HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!! CAR SEAT IS EASY TO SNAP IN AND OUT. DIFINETLY WORTH THE MONEY. NOW THE TRAVEL SYSTEM IS A LITTLE HEAVY AND A LITTLE BULKY SO IF YOU GO TO OUT TO EAT AND TRY TO PUT THE SEAT IN THE BOOTH IT DOESNT ALWAYS FIT, OR ITS A VERY TIGHT SQUEEZE. AND SOMETIME THE STRAPS CAN GET TWISTED OR TANGLED AND ITS NOT THE EASIEST TO UNTANGLE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY, BUT OVERALL ITS A GOOD SAFE RELIABLE TRAVEL SYSTEM.

When I was shopping around for my daughter I had to have looked at maybe 10 different travel systems. My fiance and I would find them online and then go check them out in store, we could not believe how unsafe and poorly made some products were. We finally found this Eddie Bauer travel system on sale at sears and we fell in love! I kept seeing it in stores and online, but they only had it in blue and grey and that was not going to work for me for my daughter. They finally came out with this one in pink and grey and we love it! It was very easy to put together and only took us maybe 15 minutes at most. The base for the car is a great size and fits great in our small sports car. It is very well padded and I am not worried at all about my daughters comfort or safety with this travel system. The only thing I would change on it is that the visor on the car seat gets in the way when you are putting the handle up and down to carry her around, but it is definitley not a deal breaker for us! Great product for the price!

This is a good middle of the road car seat.  The straps buckle well, but are a bit narrow which leaves them prone to twisting which not only makes them less comfortable for the child, but also less safe.  In addition, it has a nice gender neutral brown/blue plaid fabric covering.  It is pretty easy to install, even without the LATCH system.  Also, it comes with a head pillow which is not really necessary.  It can tilt forward and backward to allow optimum positioning.  It can be both front or rear facing, but I would say it fits better in the car when in the front facing position.  It appears well padded from the sides and it seems that the child is secure in the seat.  It comes with a few unnecessay accessories, such as a cup holder which can attatch to the sides of the carseat.  This is probably a reasonable backup option for a second car or a grandparent's car, but this would not be my first choice for a primary car.

             Eddie Bauer has been my choice since 2005.My mom and grant-grand advised my to Eddie Bauer when i had my first daughter in 2005.Eddie Bauer has good quality to is car seats and strollers.The designs are wonderful well as the comfort to it.
