Eddie Bauer Astoria Enspira Deluxe Convertible Car Seat Review

The Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible carseat is a high quality, comfortable, affordable carseat that fits all the needs of my family. It's a rear or forward facing carseat that also supports extended rear facing, as it's weight limit is 35 lbs rear facing. It is a large convertible carseat, therefore maybe not ideal for small cars (it fits fine in my mid-size SUV). The directions included aren't extremely clear on how to install with the latch system, so it does take some figuring out that the latch straps go under the main seat, not around. It latches well and is very secure. The detachable head pillow is also nice, but does seem to make a smaller infants head fall forward more than necessary (an easy fix, just take it off). There is also a removable side pillow piece that keeps smaller infants from slumping to one side or the other. It's fairly easy to take apart to clean and is machine washable. A removable cup holder is also included that attaches to the side of the seat for bigger kids.  Overall, this carseat is nice, affordable (at under $120), safe, and comfortable for your child.
