Ecoist Recycled Candy Wrapper Purse Reviews

I recently bought this Recycled Candy Wrapper clutch purse for a trendy cousin-in-law of mine.  It's a Christmas present, so I have yet to get it to her.  However, I'm quite excited about it. 

After ripping open the packaging I admired the smooth texture of the sturdy candy wrappers.  I was worried they may just be fragile paper wrappers, but trust me, they're quite durable.  Also, it has amazing colors - quite eye-catching.

 The strap is removable to be used as a clutch or wrist-purse. 

The size is perfect to hold credit cards, extra cash, a cell phone and some gum.  You could even throw...

Go for homemade and recycled!  Good for the environment, good for the entrepreneur.  This purse made of candy wrappers is an awesome idea and everyone should try it out!

 I first saw this item on ebay in the 'green items' section.  I could not believe my eyes.  A purse made of candy wrappers?  Who would have thought!  I wish I had thought of the idea myself. 

I have purchased this type of bag before, The ones made from recycled paper, and Loved it, I actually got it years ago and it still has not lost it's shape or strength. I adore the bag and use it alot actually. I love the fact that it is something recycled, and also a work of art.
