I am not typically a science-fiction reader, but a neighbor recommended this book to me and I had to give it a shot. I started with Twilight and read all three in the series within a week. I literally couldn't put these books down, I was staying up all night just to read "one more chapter" and find out what was going to happen with Bella, Edward and Jacob. — The books are great, no matter who you are.        Bella always finds herself in trouble.  Can natural enemies, Edward and Jacob, be able to work together to help keep her safe?  The tension between these two is so intense and so solid that Bella feels them pulling her apart, inside her heart she knows what she wants but will she have the strength to do what needs to be done to save them all.       This is one of the longest books I have ever read, in one day.  I didn't think it was possible, but I could not put it down.  At times it felt a little wordy, but… read full review »

      I have read all three books in this series from Stephanie Meyer and I am anxiously awaiting the fourth.  When I read the books in this series I become engrossed in the daily lives of the characters. okay so i've read the first book twiligh then i have to wait about two weeks for the second book and start going ensiane.  I finally found someone to borrow it from then i went shoping and instead of buying the second one i just got the third one so i knew i would have it as soon as i got done with new moon.  then i start reading eclipse hoping it will be as good as the first two but dont see how any one person can write that many exalent books.  Then it turns out to be just as good as the first to it actually went beyond my expectations it is easty to follow. With Edward back with Bella, it is hard to deny that this book is cute and sweet. They are such a cute couple. The only cons seem to be that the story is a bit quick, with not too much drama (only victoria and the possible volturi attacks), but again, another masterpiece in the twilight series by Stephenie Meyer as it ends sweetly and leaving you needing breaking dawn to come out. What more can I say. It's a perfect love story for young adults that looks at love and the meaning of control. As an adult I really engoyed this book and I liked how it wasn 't full of sexual things. Eclipse is a fiction-story about vampires to keep it short and sweet. This book is one in the whole series. When people read series they're normally expecting an "okay" book for the second or third, this book most definetely lives up to the first one!
