Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Book 3) —

I literally didn't sleep for days--I read all four Twilight Saga Books: Twilight, Noon Moon, Ellipse and Breaking Dawn in one week! I was completely lost and captivated in Stephanie Meyer's world and the Bella Swan "Forks storyline." These books were so compelling that I ignored many emails and phone calls until I was able to finish the collection. The romantic and cultural tension interwoven within this book (Eclipse) was fantastically conveyed. Everyone woman wants to be Bella and desires a gentleman of Edward's caliber (who wouldn't want a man who is immortal, tender, wealthy, intelligent and strong?). One of the most interesting aspects of this book was Ms. Meyer's ability to create love, sexual tension, and emotional intrigue without resorting to something vulgar (these books are relativity "clean" and suitable for a teenager to read) was really provocative. My only disappointment was that there are not more books in the Saga to read (2000 + pages was simply not enough!). I have read this book a couple of times now and am looking forward to the movie (the New Moon movie is anticipated in 2010 and the Eclipse movie is anticipated in 2011). This book was a lovely journey of the imagination and of the heart. I look forward to any upcoming publication from this author.
