I placed an order for 2 books on a Monday, and because I didn't have the money, my husband paid for them. The order was cancelled the next day. I placed a second order on Wednesday and it was cancelled as well. I am now out $528.05 that I now have to wait for. I really needed those books and no one at that company cares at all. The only "help" they have offered me was to place a THIRD order, which now totals $780.47 that I have given them in 3 days. Oh, but I got a $20 consolation prize for playing their games. I will never do any business with them again.

I would never use Ecampus again

I put in an order for a textbook and a week later I had still not recieved a shipping confirmation email. I then tried to call the business and had still not been answered 40+ minutes after being on hold. I then tried their messaging system, and was never transferred to anyone. THEN I emailed the company and still haven't heard back. At this point I just want to cancel my order but I can not get ahold of anyone to do even that. NEVER would I use this unprofessional company again.

I read these reviews about Ecampus on top of reviews from other sites, and didn't quite believe the bad reviews, as there will always be people who have bad experiences. Well a bad experience happened to me. I found a book on Ecampus that was drastically cheaper than on any other website, so I gave it a shot. After i ordered it the first time, they immediately cancelled my order (mind you, I checked the website out of concern that I never received a confirmation or shipment email). Without an email notifying my why my order got cancelled, I decided to place an order again. I received an email stating that my order got cancelled once again, this time due to "irregularities in payment information" when I used the same card to order two other books from another website with no problem. Out of curiosity, I checked the price of the book on Ecampus and it increased by 12 dollars. It seems as if they cancelled my order on purpose because the demand for the book is too high for the low price (which is why online books are a thing.) I bet if I placed one more order, the order would finally go through, but for $12 more expensive. I would rather give my business to someone else because of this experience. I was aware of the start date for school and ordered my books well ahead of time. But because of this unacceptable inconvenience, my book will not arrive on time for my first day of class. I am outraged by the way this website is run, and I would never recommend it to anyone. To whoever reads this review, DO NOT let their low prices sway you to purchasing the books your need like I did and waste your time and efforts on this terrible website. Move onto the next website as I will be doing.

Fast & Cheap

I ordered a couple books from eCampus since their price was overall $6 cheaper than a previous company I shopped with. Checkout was easy and since my order was over $59, shipping could be free. I chose to upgrade to a higher shipping level though so I could receive my books faster. Economy (the free offer) delivered in 4 - 8 days, but I needed them before the end of the week so I went with Standard. They both arrived before the quoted 3 - 5 day period you get with standard shipping. 1 book was new and the other used, both in good shape though and I was only renting them so it didn't matter to much. Anyway, I will definitely consider using them again after having a great first experience!

Took my $180 and cancelled my order twice. Never use again !

Bought two books. A day later received an email that they cancelled my order because my address didn't match my card. I called the bank and they said the problem was on their end. Now I'm out $180 and I have no books! It will take 3 to 5 days to get my money back! Class started today. I only have 5 days to get my books. Now I will be scrambling to find the books. Will never use again!

Still waiting for the book I ordered and it's past the date eCampus.com promised. Horrible customer service, no way to escalate complaint or speak with a supervisor. Was told if I wanted to speak with a supervisor, a report needed to be prepared, and that supervisor had until the end of next day to respond. BUY YOUR BOOKS ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!

I rented a USED book for $10, a new one is about $70. While with me, the book got a very little water damage on the bottom pages, it DID NOT damage the print of the book at all, and when was the time to returned it they said the book was completed damaged and could not be rented nor resold to anyone anymore and was going to be destroyed. Nevertheless they charged my credit card the full amount of $68. They made me pay for a new book, but the book was already used before I got it in the first place, it even had written things on it! I called the company to see if I they could send me the book back, since I had to pay the full price for a book that was ALREADY used before it got to me, and they said they said ok, so far no book and it's been over two weeks now. I also sent them an email and got no reply. Now I don't have the book and lost my money! Payed almost $80 for a used book that I don't have! Therrible company and customer service! Never again!

It's been 8 business days and two weekends since I ordered a new book - said "in stock" and normally ships 24-48 hrs later. I received shipment confirmation a week later.

Misleading "BUNDLES"

I rented a textbook BUNDLE which clearly stated in the title that it included the book + a printed access code. When I received the book the access code was missing. I contacted the company and they stated that since it was a rental they could not guarantee an access code. If that was the case they should not offer a "BUNDLE" option for rentals. The customer service agent I spoke with was extremely unhelpful and simply kept rephrasing previous answers. Returning all the books I rented from this company and using one who actually sends what you order.
