East Liverpool Motorlodge - East Liverpool, OH — 

We stayed at the East Liverpool Motorlodge in Ohio for 3 weeks. My husband was going there for business and me and my daughter decided to come along for us to have sort of a mini vacation. We all had never visited Ohio before. Before we headed for Ohio, (we live in Georgia), I called around to different hotels that I could find online that were local to the area that my husband was going to be working at. The East Liverpool Motorlodge was the best option for our budget and needs. My first impression of the hotel was that physically it looked older like maybe originated around the 1980's or so. But it's still in great shape. The room didn't have a bad smell to it. We always get non=smoking rooms. But this particular hotel does have smoking rooms available. The East Liverpool Motorlodge Hotel has lots of amenities too such as...

-Fitness Center (with lots and lots of different workout machines to choose from), Locker room with showers and bathrooms

- 4 Stand-up Tanning Booths (Daily charge is under $5)

-Guest Laundry Facility (4 Dryers, 2 Washers); (Only 3 Dryers and 1 Washer worked)

-In Hotel Restaurant (Lots of Menu Items to choose from (there was also a menu for the restaurant provided in the room (Room Service Available)

-In Hotel Lounge (Bar & Music) We didn't go in there so we don't know how pricey they were)

-Key Card Room Access

-Indoor Room Access (Can't access rooms from the parking lot)

The East Liverpool Motorlodge is an above average hotel. I wouldn't say that it is as good as the Holiday Inn but it definetly has it's advantages, like all those amenities. Back in the 90's this place was probably top-notch. But I'd say that it needs some remodeling, especially in the rooms. The rooms were clean though, minus the two roaches that I did see on the wall. The maids come by everyday and clean your room. We stayed here at the East Liverpool Motorlodge Hotel in Ohio for about 3 weeks and our cost was $412 (tax included) per week. The customer service here at the hotel and restaurant were just okay, nothing spectacular or top-notch service. Their was one particular problem that we experienced more than once during our stay. Twice when we ate at the in hotel restaurant our drinking glasses had food stuck in them. And the little plates has soap spots all over them. We reported to the hotel staff about this each time that it had happened which was twice. On the second time one of the staff members at the front desk said that she would take care of this and make sure that we were compensated for the inconvienence. She said that she would contact us and let us know what could be done. Well 3 days went by and nothing, we even told her that we were checking out soon and still nothing was compensated.
