Earthlink —

We've had Earthlink since having our first computer in 1998 (our first computer was an I-Mac and our second computer is an E-Mac). We've always been on dial-up because it allows you to be on-line whether you have cable or not. The biggest annoyance is when the computer decides to hang up on you, but that's not Earthlink's fault. The biggest annoyance about Earthlink (other than not always accommodating Mac users) is that they outsource a number of their customer service calls to the Philippines. Other than that, we see no reason to switch companies or have anything other than dial-up. It's a fraction of what we paid for cable and worth the price. I just wonder what will happen when we have to get our third computer which will most likely have the universal binary, though we hope not to have to worry about that for several years yet.
