Eagle Pack Holistic Select Dog Food Duck & Oatmeal Canned Food — 

this food has been a godsend for our 63-pound mixed breed dog with food allergies and a tendency toward belly upset. process of elimination determined he's allergic to corn (makes him itchy) and wheat (makes him itchy AND constipated for the double whammy). he's now eating nature's variety "instinct grain-free" dry food (reviewed separately on this site) with a dollop of the eagle pack duck & oatmeal canned food -- you know, to keep his meals interesting. at age "8-ish" (he was rescued in '04, so who really knows), he's feeling better and has more energy now than he's ever had.

as a supplement to the higher quality ingredients, all eagle pack foods contain digestive enzymes to encourage nutrient absorption and healthy gut flora. he loves the food, and it seems to be loving him back.

Amen. Our 6 year old wheaten was scratching herself bloody. Known flea allergies, but no fleas in Idao in December. She's had nothing but Holistic Select kibble with a spoon of the canned for a month and stopped scratching last week. No more hot spots, no more suffering. Another month and then we'll try introducing foods one at a time to discover the culprit.
