ER Review Summary

Continued interest in the hospital drama ER is split, making it a good time for them to be ending their run on the NBC schedule. While some reviewers feel that ER "reinvents itself every season," others feel they "lost interest in this a while back." What started out as the anchor in NBC's Must See TV Thursday lineup, it's now the lone show left of that original night of programming. Some reviewers feel that ER has been "getting away from the medical aspect more and more the last few years and has been focusing more on soap opera-like drama," and others feel "they keep repeating the same storylines, just with different actors and actresses." Yet, others feel that ER continues to be "the only show on TV that makes you feel like you are there." Those that will miss this show once it's gone, or are already finding themselves tuning out, might want to turn on Grey's Anatomy or Scrubs.

Intro
While at one time I tuned into ER because it was the finale of NBC's Must See TV Thursday, I now watch three different networks on Thursday night with Survivor on CBS and Gray's Anatomy on ABC, but still I go back to NBC for ER. It now is a draw in and of itself.

BRING BACK George Clooney and Noah!!!!! this year has been the worst ever

boring storylines. i could care less what happens to any of them. Abby has been

I lost interest in ER a while back. I really loved it when all the original cast was on it. To me it seems that they keep repeating the same story lines, just with different actors and actresses.

ER is one of the best drama show that has be on tv.  I watched it from the time it started to the end.  I always had some favorite characters and tis doctors, even though they did get involved at a personal level, were good at what they did and truly card for the people who came through the ER.  There were some very sad episodes where it actually brought me to tears.  There were people that finally got together that you waited and waited for it to happen.  The doctors were very dedicated.  I was upset when it went off the air.

Though NBC's ER is in his 15th season, the show is still as refresh and intense as it ever was.  Incredible gripping story lines and a fantastic cast that uses realistic medical terms and techniques as in true ER situations.  The actors come across very naturally in the ER and the characters have a way of growing on you. I even miss the characters that I love to hate such as Paul McCrane's - Dr. Romano.  I hate to see this show come to an end but I know it will go out on a high note!

ER is a wonderful show.  I love this show, and when I found out that this was the last season for it.  I was really upset.  Even my kids were upset.  They have learned a lot from this show.  They take issues that are happening in the public today, and give more info to make you understand what is really going on.  I will really miss this show.  It will truely be miss

I've been a viewer of ER for years and have enjoyed it, but it's really been getting away from the medical aspect more and more the last few years and has been focusing more on soap opera like drama. I still watch, but wish there was more medical mystery to it, and less of the other stuff.

I have been watching this show for years. I still love it after all this time. I wish that Abby and Luca didn'thave to go through so much trouble, though. The characters are still interesting and alive, though.  The stroylines seem to repeat a little bit though.

I absolutely love this show, however, some weeks are better than others. Currently, just waiting for the show to come back on. Hopefully, something will happen to spice it back up.

I love this show!  I have been watching since the beginning.  It gets better every year!  The situations are very much like what really happens in the ER.
