I have tried a lot of detergents that are out there on the market, and this is by far my favorite. I have extremely sensitive skin and the harsher laundry detergents tend to give me a rash but this brand doesn't do that. My children also have sensitive skin and this also doesn't bother them, so I don't have to buy another detergent to be able to wash all of our clothes, towel, sheets and things. I love the lavender scent, it's one of my favorite scents and just makes everything smell so good. I especially like that this is a genuine lavender scent that's not too overpowering and doesn't smell fake. With this laundry detergent you don't have to use a ton to get your clothes clean, and because it comes in a nice large container you don't have to worry about running out quickly and remembering to buy it very often. The benefits of a gentle formula and effective cleaning mixed with a great low price I have yet to find a better detergent.

Let me start by saying we live in the country where the dirt is red. Stains are the norm around here. I have used Ecos for well over a year now. The price is amazing, your clothes come out spotless and it is surfectant free. We have a well and septic system, so it is important to me that our detergent be free of surfectants. Here comes the "however" portion of my review. After about 9 months of using Ecos I started noticing that our clothes didn't smell as fresh and an odd odor had appeared in my laundry room. It took a month to figure out that it was coming out of my top loading washer! At first I thought it was the septic system. But nope, septic was fine. My husband changed the filter on the washer and that didn't make a difference. I finally found a recipe for a washing machine cleaner. I put all of the ingredients into the washer with burning hot water and let it agitate and then sit for a couple of hours. When I looked into the washer I was appalled to see chunks of black stuff floating in the water... Needless to say, I "cleaned" the washer again with the same solution just to be safe. It was some kind of mildew. After that, my clothes went back to that nice soft lavender scent. I have never had that problem while using any other detergent. I wasn't willing to part with my Ecos, so now I use my cleaning solution once a month in the washer "just to be safe." I'm happy, my washing machine is happy and my clothes are still coming out of the washer stain free, smelling good and looking great. Performance Ecos outperforms every detergent that I have ever used. I LOVE how it cleans everything from lingerie to throw rugs and towels. Every stain that we have thrown at it lifts right out, in cold water, without a pre-treater. I haven't even used bleach in the past year. There is no fading of colors or whites that get dingy. Everything comes out bright and clean. I use Ecos on EVERYTHING, including my work clothes. Scent Ecos comes in Lavender and a scent free version. The scent free feels to me like it is lacking something. It obviously cleans just as well, but there is literally NO smell to it. The lavender is amazing! It leaves a very subtle scent behind that lingers softly. Even after several days, our sheets still smell so fresh.

The first detergent of the green nature that I tried that I liked was the Ecos Lavender Laundry detergent. I have used it on and off through the years, but the most recent bottle of this detergent that I bought was not quite as nice as previously. The smell was not as strong and the detergent was leaving the clothes rough and scratchy. Performance After using this detergent for so long, I had finally talked my mom into trying a bottle of Ecos Lavender detergent. I bought a bottle at the same time and was proud that I finally got my mom to use something a bit more ecologically sound. Boy was that about to change! When I opened my new bottle of detergent, I was surprised at how rough my clothing was feeling. My clothes were scratchy and rough and they just didn't seem as nice as they did in the past. My mom called me a few weeks later and mentioned that she had to stop using the Ecos Lavender detergent due to it making her clothes too rough on her skin. So, it was not my imagination. I found an old container and used it again and it was not nearly as bad as the newer one. So, I am not sure if it was an irregularity in production or if they changed the formula, but I have moved on to using other products instead for now. A little does go a long way , however, so you only need a tablespoon or two for a front loader. Scent I love the lavender scent, but in the most recent bottle, the scent was pretty weak compared to the way it used to be. No matter how strong it is in the bottle, however, it does fade from the clothing really fast anyway, so it is not a big deal. I do love the lavender scent they use- it is natural smelling.

I was sent a sample pack of the latest ECO friendly products. In my pack I was given a sample of the Lavender laundry detergent made by Earth Friendly Products. I love this detergent. It made my cloths smell wonderful and cleaned them like as well as any other detergent would have. I would recommend this product. If you are looking for a product that is earth friendly then try this stuff. You won't be unhappy with the results
